Personally, I like to use the flute mouthpiece and either stick my finger in the end and make it a slide whistle; or use the mouthpiece and rapidly cover and uncover the end to make rainforest noises

As a clarinetist, another weird(but fun) sound it can make is if you take the mouthpiece and barrel off(as one), start blowing then change the tightness of your mouth, it can make a very fun noise

Don't forget the lovely Turkey Gobble on clarinet. Take the barrel and mouthpiece off then quickly move your hand to cover the barrels end and blow quick air. Makes a turkey gobble. We had to play this for our Halloween Concert
