Scarlet and Violet continue the trend, Feebas can only be encountered in the lake at the lowest level inside Oni Mountain, and only at the bottom of the lake, so functionally invisible unless you use the targeting feature.

I'm doing a Nuzlocke and by the Grace of God I actually got all the way up to a spot where I can fish feebas without running into any encounters along 119. But I don't have the luxury of 3-5 chances per tile 😢.... Just got 1 shot. Let's see how this tragedy goes! Edit: Got a Carvanha 😭

That's why I never had a milotic. Personaly I love milotic, but catching a Fibas is partially impossible if you do not have patience. Plus feebas is absolute Trash. I would rather catch a Magicarpe with high spoun rate than a freaking Feebas. Only reason I still look at feebas is because of milotic. But due to Feebas's low spawn rate, I believe milotic might be forgotten... One of the roast thing made by Pokemon company: superiority complex between Feebas and magicarpe...😢

Y'all can't believe this: i luckily found feebas on my emerald cartridge on primary school and there was this classmate who asked me to help him find one in his game so what he did was to lend me his game for lunch as we had two hours break before going back to school for the afternoon hours I tried first tile and got the feebas on his cartridge too lol, he was so happy I really miss those primary school years, like everyone from even other classrooms asked me help for their game, if it was to find legendary pokemons, emerald cloning, or help them going on with their game when they had no clue to how to proceed they all used to go and ask me

You could make feebas hunting a collaborative effort because after mixing records, the feebas tiles sync between the mixed save files. So if one finds a feebas, you all could find one.

I believe that in gen 4 you can input the daily lottery numbers into a website and it will tell you the spots for Feebas? It has been a while but I'm pretty sure since I recall the Feebas spots changing every day in the gen 4 games. Maybe it is the same case for the gen 3 games?

Funny story I spent hours trying to catch a couple of febas cause I had little idea what berries should be used to raise beauty and it took me 3 tries to get it right but the problem was the second try was a shiny and I had no idea what a shiny was at that point so I had a not evolveable febas as my first ever shiny Pokémon
