That’s great that you don’t have any major illnesses. However, Oak St. Health specializes in preventative health care that focus on keeping you healthy patients healthy for longer life. Also, everyone healthy or with illnesses should have a primary care provider.

I don't have any way to the DR,office except The jaunt bus if it's out of the country I live in I can't go I live in Louisa county VA, I only have Medicare INS

It ok for me I gets So frustrated sometimes. Depressed and sometimes pas experiences I’ve had I just don’t want to go through another specialist

I I got a referral Thur the mail and I called and they said they never got the referral. Here I go again. I’m sooooo frustrated with our health care in USA. I’m getting with Dr Robinson soon. I’ll have her to call in the referral. Before I change my mine again. Lol

Are you in Maryland. My brother has a rash they say it's chicken pox they're on both sides of his arms, neck, legs and back of the neck. His appointment is in March. He said that they burn and feel like bee stings.

I believe this is coming to our community and I’m excited about it. They say they will transport him to and from the doctors office, see him in the assisted living, and a 40 min office visit ! I Can’t wait ! 😊😊😊

Now I know why it takes 2 months to get a appointment with her. I never get my test results, nor her notes like I do from all my other doctors. I’m no longer happy with oak street med. I’ll be looking around for the new year 2025.

Too many md's care less about certain patients. All they do is push meds; meds don't heal. I am happy to find the Healthy food and beverage intake Heals. In my area, I've seen the worst, typing, very rude, unprofessional so-called doctors. Seniors , Stay Woke, Healthy, Drug-Free and Exercise 🎉

The nurse practitioners are just as good as doctors for primary care. I prefer my nurse practitioner over the doctor in my doctor’s office. They seem more compassionate and knowledgeable. I had been going to doctors with no relief from a condition I have. It was a nurse practitioner that diagnosed what was going on, no doctor I saw figured it out. I saw some of the supposedly best doctors before this nurse practitioner figured out what was wrong.

@@d.walker3758Your experience different from the NP I saw. I am a licensed RN, and didn't mind seeing a NP, but a doctor needs to be available, especially when a doctor is advertised. The NP I saw was cold, never smiled. She probably was over worked.

Karen let me share my experience. I was excited about Oak Street Health as it sounded as good as this doctor made it sound. I dropped in to check it out as was offered a "complementary" visit, no fees involved. I verified complementary with 3 different people, including the Nurse Practitioner who saw me There were no medical doctors at the location. The office manager was very aggressive. I declined several times speaking with the financial office as I was interested only in the "complementary" visit and was repeatedly reassured neither I nor my insurance would be billed. WRONG! The office manager signed me up without my knowledge or approval, even though he told me I didn't qualify because of income. He said "We can work around that.". Of course that was a red flag because I have leukemia and did not want anything interfering with my needed care. I saw the NP, who said the visit was being recorded from the adjacent room. Curious. I was shocked to see Medicare had been billed. I received a notice from Medicare that it also had been changed to Oak Street. I went to Oak Street and told them I was not interested in their service. I was told I needed to sign a form, which they did not have, so I went home and sent a typed written letter, but never got the form. The Office manager was rude. It went on and on and I never got the form to refuse service My trust was broken. They did the same to an elderly friend who received the not so complimentary service, and when she received her Medicare statement and saw the billing, she also declined the service. Both of us continued to get calls from Oak Street for over a year Yes, too good to be true. I had to go to the trouble of contacting Medicare to restore my original providers.
