A visit to the Wells and Walsingham Light Railway made on the 25th and 26th September 2021. At 4 miles (6.44 km) in length, the railway is the longest 10¼ inch (260 mm) gauge railway in the world. It runs from the coastal town of Wells-next-the-Sea to the village of Walsingham in North Norfolk UK. Its two principal locos are 2-6-0 + 0-6-2 Garratt locomotives - Norfolk Hero and Norfolk Heroine. The line follows the undulations of the landscape with gradients up to 1 in 60 (1.7%), proving quite a challenge for the drivers. As can be seen, the scenery is picturesque and the wildlife impressive. For more information see ngruk.blogspot.com - Music: Calm Melancholic Expressive Piano by MusicLFiles
