Actors get canceled because the "nobodies" are important and numerous enough that studios act on that. Folks lose work because of it. I was basically at "ground zero" when all the shit with Wendigoon blew up on Twitter and from what I saw it was due to a big portion of Hbomberguy's audience just being whipped up into a frenzy after he called out James Somerton and Internet Historian. Splintering off from that a bunch of them started just giving Wendigoon a bunch of shit basically just off of "bad vibes" due to him liking guns and being Christian. They then started pointing at frankly pretty innocuous things he did like following Kyle Rittenhouse on Twitter for a bit and him starting the whole Boogaloo Boys meme, neither of which I'd say is concrete evidence of anything in particular. Overall it was honestly kinda sad and pathetic the amount of straws these people were grasping at to get *anything* on him. Honestly these rabid Hbomb fans have started to become a topic in of themselves. Ever since that video they've completely infested the previously-dead r/KZbindrama subreddit and it's such a perplexing shitshow there with a bunch of essentially paranoid schizos pointing at completely innocuous things other creators have done and trying to construe them as "red flags." It has genuinely gotten so bad it has looped around with these people literally giving themselves depression via psyoping themselves into hating almost every single creator on the platform for being problematic in some way. My wife and i constantly watch wendigoon and we absolutely love him. I sometimes make the remark of him being “discount brandon” cuz of the hair but that man has serious talent. I found wendigoon because of brandon and both of their contents make me happy. So i agree with donut and brandon here. Dont come after my boy. We will unalive you. Hes too sweet and kind to be picked on.
