@@marli01 yes. People seem to think that GR are sweet and obedient by nature but ALL dogs need certain amount of training. It’s crazy but breeds with good reputation or small dogs generally are not well trained (bc it’s not ‚necessary‘ right) 🤦‍♀️

In Twilight the vampires are not allowed to say what they are. So when she goes "you're impossibly fast, you're ice cold--I know what you are" he responds "I want you to say it." Because he wants to know she guessed correctly but he can't say it. Later you learn there's a penalty of death if he told so the response makes sense but in the moment it sounded dramatic.

How do we describe, how do we scientifically analyze effective comedy? To say that Jonny's timing, knowledge of dogs' psyches and of dog breeds, and his ability to play comedy as dead-serious are all part of the whole, but still falls short of why his work is magic. You know what I'd like to see? (Other than more of his work, of course.) Jonny as guest commentator on a famous, televised dog show, or perhaps a JUDGE!

I'm proud of 7 Golden retrievers in the past. You are accurate of your depiction of this breed. I had one male named Duke he would find his favorite spot and sniff it and forcefully throw himself down his side a promptly roll on his back making Golden Retriever snow angels. He was a very dark red color. He never met a stranger on 2 legs. If the individual had 4 kegs it was game till was out of breath.
