I bought BBXL54NV Whalen 3-in-1 TV Stand from Best Buy, and it is a nice TV Stand. I do want to mention that it is a Dust magnet on the glass. A better way to ask is this. After putting the middle shelf on, is it just a metal frame, then the glass goes on top? And the frame is open, if that makes sense. I have the identical piece in the 5 tower audio rack. 2 of em actually. Sorry for all the confusion.

Yes you are correct. Glass on top of metal frame.

Currently in the early stages of assembling. Some screws aren't fitting in such as B to F. A lot of holes also aren't lining up. Did you run into any of these issues? Feels pretty sturdy already. Can I live without some steps?

+Nick Vitto I didn't run into those issues, I did have to Make sure the items were assembled in correct direction, it seemed that some times the directions had things turned around.

I'm thinking about getting the Whalen 3 Shelf TV Stand with Mount which is similar to this one when using the swivel mount. I can't make any holes in my walls but the stand comes with a Tipping Restraint Kit. I will only have a 32" TV mounted and some game systems on the shelves. Is the Tipping Restraint necessary?

Tipping Restraint is for Anti Tip, But If you don't have Kids, Pets, or live in an earthquake area you should be fine. But Depends on how strong your TV base is also..

I just had shipped the identical stand. Huge question, if I may? The folks at Waltham gave me the specs as far as height, width etc. What I need to know is, what is the space between the shelves. I'm praying there minimum 9 and a half inches each. Thanks, Greg.

+brypan I didnt, the stand sits firmly on floor. Chance of it tipping over. I have two young kids and they run and play all the time, no problems.

The swivel is just bolted on to the unit. But I don't know if you would be able to just buy another swivel.

Suction cups were an absolute pain in the ass. They went in quickly once I started cutting a small sliver out of the point. If you look at them most are oval or even square. Little water helps too.

Most of tools for this we're Allen wrenches. Those and a wrench , it came with all of them included..

QQ: when you assembled the floating swivel mount, did you notice if the pole coming up was slightly unleveled? I just put this together and I'm finding that if I hold a level to the center bar that it's leaning back from the front of the shelving. Side to side is OK and when I put the TV crossbar on it, that is level horizontally, but the pole leans back a couple of degrees. I can't tell if this is on purpose - to support up to 135lbs - or if it's defective. I know it's been 18 months but I thought I'd ask as you did an in depth review (and I had already discovered the same thing about the leveling feet!)

Honestly I'm not sure. I don't remember if the instructions said anything but I'd say max 30-50 lbs but I'm not putting no where near that on it. I just have my PS5, Nintendo switch, Apple TV, a managed switch, and some papers and stuff. But there is room for my on it.
