This is one of the best movies ever! I never get tired of silent Cecil B DeMille. The more I get into her silents (specillay those between 1915 and 1922) the more I love his work. Ant this one is just so far above any standard (from 1918! 2 years before German Expressionism, 3 years before Sjöstrom's The Phantom Charriot and the same year M. Tourneur were making the breathtaking The Blue Bird). This is an outstanding masterpiece!

This is one of the best silents I ever watched. Wonderful in any sense. Top masterpiece, The most creative and subtle DeMille at his best. The work of a genius! Bravo!
