Daryl Martin finds himself in a Southern California town hundreds of miles from the prison where he first knew Joe Gibson. He intended to pay his respects at the local funeral home hoping to find some clue to the recovery of the money he embezzled but the man he sees in the casket is not Gibson. But what puzzles Daryl is that Joe Gibson was there in that room.
