The Whistler | Mystery | "Smart People" (09-30-1951)

The story of the two people sitting together sipping their cocktails in a hotel suite in San Francisco began weeks before on a speeding transcontinental train. The two people were not sitting together, Corinne Sloan as a mater of fact was paying very little attention to the man sitting across the car. On the other hand she was listening very intently to what was being said to her by one Mr. Couvar a stout gentleman who seemed anxious to impress her.

Trivia: The signature whistling at the beginning of all The Whistler movies was provided by Dorothy Roberts, backed by the theme's composer Wilbur Hatch and his orchestra.
