The Whistler could look forward. He knew many things, for he walked by night. Old-time radio? Old-time CARDIO! The Shadow knew what evil lurrrrrked in the hearts of men but he was full of foie gras. The lovely Margot Lane was stuffing him, and Lamont Cranston knew zilch about the hearts of dames. The Whistler was aimed for the long haul when the Signal Gasoline tanker truck he was driving got broadsided by a lorry delivering a free trial ton of Blue Coal to a house in the next block. You think that's the end, don't you? Of COURSE it's the end! After, the street was cleaned up with Swan Soap and Johnson's Self-Polishing Glo-Coat. I take that same street every week at this time.
