Very rarely does a song bring me to tears with the first note but this one did. I am in a marriage with someone who doesn't love me anymore and it hurts. Heartfelt!!!! Pulled my heart strings completely out#!!! My husband had cancer and became paralyzed from the waste down. He was only 32. I STAYED!!!! I LOVE ( Loved) him and would have did anything for him . I'd traded places with him to take his pain away. I lost him after his 3yr fight finally ended. I STAYED and would do it all over again ...over and over....to just have him with me again!!! That's what it's all about.... You and your spouse/ partner....you are 1 . Nearly 2 years ago i was diagnosed with a massive tumor in my spine. 2 surgeries and 3 months in the hospital I'm exceeding recovery expectations. My beautiful wife was a key factor in my recovery, I dont know how I would have done it without her. A little over a month ago she left me. She told me she wasnt attracted to me any longer and needed to be held tight and that I could no longer give her what she needed. My hands were affected the worst by the nerve damage. I came across this song randomly the other night and it broke my heart listening to it.... Bless anyone who's dealing with a hardship/disability like this. Keep your head up, good things are in store for you.

During his months, weeks and days, he was in and out of lucidness, and I relished in the moments when he was very LUCID and spoke of his love for me, our children and grandchildren. How did you manage? I lost my dad after he fought with everything in him to stage 4 pancreatic cancer. It's not fair and my life hasn't been nor will it ever be the same again. I'm not happy. I miss him more than any words can describe. My dad was the only person to love me unconditionally. I will never have that again. It's just me and my children. How do I move on? How do I live knowing how unfair it was that he was taken from us! He was my dad but so much more he loved my children more than anything in this world and loved me when I couldn't love myself! How do I go on? I just want to be loved again!

I devote a lot of my time to my children and grandchildren. I also struggle with multiple autoimmune disease's the worst being Lupus. Awwwe this hits home ...my dad went blind when I was 6. My parents where so in love and little by little he lost toes, foot/feet and then his leg due to diabetes over a course of 15 years....their love dwindle to nothing. He was angry and took it out on her to the point of no return. They divorced and both remarried he died a broken man full of regrets not even 5 years later. Sorry just had to let that out...amazing song as always.

I STAYED, I PRAY THAT GOD SEND YOU THE ONE!!! I lost my husband October 3, 2014 and I stood by him as he was slowly dying of Silicosis(Black Lung Disease). He was my everything and though he lost his faculties, OUR LOVE STAYED STRONG UNTIL THE VERY END!! I now grieve for him everyday and wish we went together, but I promised him I would stay and watch our grand babies grow and play. He said the night before he died that he wanted to box us all up and take us with him. My heart will never be the same again. 2 days before he passed away he asked me to take him out on our porch, as we got out there he said "Do you hear the doves?" we live on the farm where he was raised and we raised our children. He then sang to me "On the Wings of a Snow White Dove" and it was at that moment I knew he was going to Heaven soon. I so miss my night and shining Armour!! He was too young at 60 yrs old and I was too young at 46 yrs old to become a widow, I truly hate that word. I would rather say I am married, my husband awaits me on the other side. I wear my wedding rings still and his wedding ring size 16, I wear on a gold chain around my neck!! He was to us all :The Man, The Myth, The Legend!! 6'4" and was a gentle giant, never raised his voice at me or a hand, that right there is the definition of a REAL MAN!! I miss you Gary, more than words could ever say, I miss everything about you, your long gray hair and same with your beard, how I loved to brush your hair!!! I miss holding your huge hand in mine and telling you it was ok to let go, to be pain free, for Jesus will heal you as you enter Heaven, but please save a place for me!! I miss you MY LOVE.
