@@carlosdelgado4147 Yes I did and I still own it! It's a very tight euro - each player only has 9 turns so every turn needs to be finely tuned. In other euros, that might be very AP inducing, but here your options are pretty straight forward. The goal is to have each turn produce significant combos and with repeated plays you learn quickly how combos can be created. Also, with only 9 turns, a game can be over and done quick enough to reset the board for another go. It's worth noting that some players have found 9 turns to be a little too tight. I see their argument, though I like that light pressure to make your turns impactful. The upcoming expansion, Matcha, adds in another bridge of dice increasing your turns to 12. Some players have argued this takes away that fine-tuning of the base game, but for the first time in a while this seems like an expansion you could live without. If you enjoy the fine tuned mechanics of the base game, you can pass on the expansion. If you want more turns to build a stronger engine, add the expansion! The game overall is a solid win for me and I've enjoyed every play of it. Definitely worth your time if you can find a copy! PS There is a solo mode included, though a lot of players found it to be a little unfair. There's a few different community-made solo modes that I think use the solo AI better, so even if you're into this for a solo purchase there's fun to be had!

Question about set up: You tell us to roll the dice after closing starting cards, but the set up #7 says to roll and place the dice. What is correct? You tell us to replace the cards if all 3 icons don't get placed, but the rule book says tell us to replace if all have the same dark background. Which of these is correct?

Thank you so much for the thorough explanation of the game from the SET UP! very nice Video! just one question though, you said there should be at least "one of each" dark colored action showing on the Castle at the set up, but the rule book says "if all the cards in the castle show the exact same dark-background action, then you should re shuffle?" so it doesn't have to show all three of different action at the start? but you could start with just the 2 of the different actions? I'm just confused on that little detail.

To those that were told this game is like Red Cathedral, it isn’t even closely related. I really like RC but I loathe TWC as it is klunky and really BORING! If you like what you see in this video, then by all means you’ll like the game. For me, I was so disappointed. Thankfully I found this out before ordering it.

Me too. It really looks like a solitary game , basically no player interaction. I can easily go to pub while waiting my turn again. But idea with dices is interesting. Liked that part. Just paying/stealing the difference in cubes to/from another player if u stacked on his cube,.instead to bank, would make a lot of difference and better dynamics. Same problem with Wingspan. Solitary game, competing against highscore.

I’ve been playing it for a few days…I think it’s pretty great. Just crunchy enough and yet easy to set up and take down/The AI can be tweaked in several ways. It’s pretty solid as a solo as well as multiplayer.
