Yes, I'm not surprised this fairy tale reminds you of this version of Beauty and the Beast, Jean Cocteau also used the flying hands though they don't appear in this fairy tale, so it's likely he found them in White Cat. Merci Catherine, alors je ne vais pas tout traduire (cela dit il doit il y avoir un outil de traduction automatique sous les vidéos proposé par You Tube ) mais j'ai fait une première vidéo l'année dernière sur ce projet de livre sur le Conte de Madame d'Aulnoy "La Chatte Blanche" sur lequel je travaille en parallèle d'autres projets , et j'avance petit à petit les illustrations, décors, personnages et dessins qui orneront les pages et quand tout sera fini il devrait y avoir un livre en chair et en os à l'arrivée. Ah oui le vent s'est aussi immiscé par chez vous ! Il était assez ébouriffant !

The white cat....she is amazing. I love cats, and she looks so real. Last video I did see the fruit decor but it was not so good to see how it looks. But now you showed it and it looks beautiful. I have never hear the word cadna, Thank you for explain what it was. It sounds very "logisch" (that is Dutch, logic in English???) nobody can touch the knife, fork and spoon what the prince and princess are using. I love to see how this fairytail goes on. Have a nice time, hope the wind is gone.

Thank you Marjan! yes it's true I didn't show them! well yes it was written in her 17th century spelling "cadenat", but a "cadenas" in modern french means "padlock" in english so nothing to do with dishes or forks and knifes!, Yes the wind is gone and it's sunny now hope in your corner of the Netherlands too !

Super excited to see this project completed! So inspiring and beautiful. Did you take the picture of the audio book cover yourself? Are you planning to do all the photography of the inside pages yourself too? I love the combination of 3D sculpture with the drawn pages. It reminds of the the children books I used to read when I was growing up. They are very much of the classic and of the old style of children books I love so much.:)

I created and took the photo of the cover yes and plan to do them all for the inside of book, the purpose here will be to use as less Photoshop or digital tools as possible.Yes I'm very inspired by some 19th century and a bit of late 18the engravings too and will reuse some of these inspiration for the organization of the pages and to frame the texts. Thank you :)
