In light of #FibroidAwarenessMonth, I wanted to recognize an amazing organization that advocates for women’s health and women empowerment. I had an opportunity to speak with Tanika Gray Valbrun, the founder of The White Dress Project, to candidly discuss her courageous journey dealing with uterine fibroids.
As stated on the website, the mission and vision of The White Dress Project is to galvanize, support and promote national awareness about the fibroid epidemic among women domestically and globally through education, research, and advocacy.
The White Dress Project is an organization dedicated to raising funds for research and awareness for uterine fibroids in hopes that women with fibroids will be empowered and will no longer have to suffer in silence.

I really enjoyed watching this! As I haven’t personally suffered from fibroids, I have so many of my friends that do. This was so enlightening and informative and definitely sheds light on what so many women have been experiencing and didn’t have the voice to speak up until now. The White Dress Project is such an empowerment to women everywhere and kudos to Tanika for bringing this topic to the forefront! You’re an inspiration!!!!

I have subscribe to channel and I have also started my own channel dealing with fibroids. I want to share my own story and share resources with other women who dealt with complications of Fibroids; yes this is an under discussed project so I want to join the movement of awareness. I will share this info on my page if that is okay, more resources the better. Thank you for this information ☺️
