I'm considering the same knife and am debating between handle materials. What is your opinion of the burlap micarta? Is it grippy, smooth, comfortable, etc? What made you choose it? Thank you for your help in my decision making process :)

I chose it because I don't have anything like BBM in my collection. I find it grippy when my hands are moist or damp., but very slippery to hold when dry or cold. I may wrap it with insulating tape. Great question and worthy of a video!
