5:40 It's the sauna environment. Heat + Humidity + Mosquitoes + Leeches. Most of the other tourists are chinese and koreans, occasionally japanese. 10:11 Love that! No wonder everyone wants the piece of those islands. It's like those water from the ads. :DD 11:11 Sick underwater footage! The other colourful corals was in Terengganu back in 2016. Even with bad camera, the corals were really vibrant.

08:12 one of the best diving spot in the world is actually Sipadan island, not Sibuan. Sipadan is located at Semporna as well

Beautiful Sabah 💕 most tourists don't know that there are big difference between the waters at the west coast and east coast Malaysia. Most beautiful tropical islands n crystal clear water are at the east coast 👌

Fun Fact: Do you know Semporna in Malay means Perfect in English. Sabah at the time was administered by British North Borneo Company appointed William Hood Treacher as Governor renamed it Labuan Semporna which in English means Perfect Anchorage but later after some times only known as Semporna. The original name was Tong Talun in Bajau Language (Malay = Hujung Hutan ~ English = At the End of the Forest). It's ironic that it's not the natives who name it but it was an Englishman!

The origins of the Thai Milk tea is when some traders down South of Thailand tried to replicate the Indian Muslim teh tarik from Malaysia. It is essentially a Malaysian Indian derived drink. So yes, the Malaysian teh tarik came first and not the Thai tea. Same goes for Char Kuey Teow which came before Pad Thai. Cheers 😊

Curry Masaman as well. None in Thai tradition has curry in thier cuisine, except recently the Thai Muslims mix marriage with Pakistani introduced Curry in thier cuisine landscape. Therefore, the Bangkok Thai called it “Masaman (Musalman a.k.a Muslim) Curry”.

@@keangwooichoo6138 Masaman is not green curry. It's more like Indian food. Not even Thai food.

FYI, it is important to wear covered shoes in the 'jungle' to avoid bites and injuries. There are many insects like ants and small animals that may bite you if your feet are uncovered. It is best to wear sports/hiking shoes.

I brought those black rubber shoes to Japan for hiking. I didn't know that rubber will become very hard in winter. The harden rubber shoes cut into the back of my ankles and I was bloodied. Back from my hike I threw those damn rubber shoes to the bin.

Gorgeous nature but couldnt escape seeing trashes here and there and this is a major problem for sabah as many illegal immigrants from philippines are there and level of education and civic mindedness are lower as well and unlike states in peninsular the states in borneo hv more authoritieson their local administration which caused more corruptions and mismanagement
