I got shingles a few years ago and the virus damaged my nerves and for the last couple years I have been living with the pain equivalent to the pain from the shingles. It has made it impossible for me to hold a normal job and provide financially for my family. My parents have been able to help us and support us but my in-laws have convinced my wife this verse applies to me. They have used this verse to condemn me and drive a wedge between my wife and I. They refuse to accept that I have a serious injury and deny my condition exists and then tell my wife that she should leave me because of this verse. But God is greater then any lies. Praise the Lord.

If you can sit and type this comment on a phone, you can get a job sitting and typing. I’ve had shingles, it’s not a disability. There are treatments for nerve damage & even just basic, inexpensive supplements that help with nerve damage. And pain for that matter. I’m not trying to be harsh, but if you’re unable to get disability, then there are definitely jobs you can do.

Praise God for in Him we are never forsaken or forgotten! In accordance with this word and 1 timothy 5:8, james 1:5, genesis 2:18, 2 corinthians 6:14-18 I bind one to desire to understand how and be able to provide for one's family at all times while binding to hell every lack of desire to understand how and to be able to provide for one's family at all times in my life, the lives of my family, friends, colleagues, neighbours, acquitances, opponents, the children I teach and the body of Christ while binding to hell every desire being a helpmate for any man whom is unwilling to provide for one's family and binding one to desire being a helpmate to a man only that is willing to provide for one's family, binding to hell every unequal yoke and common share with anyone lacking desire to understand how and be able to provide for one's family at all times while desiring to provide for any man not willing to provide for one's family, in the name and blood of Jesus Christ, amen and hallelujah, glory to God ❤!

Inasmuch as this is scriptural, context is very important. If the Lord withholds your provision whilst His correcting you I.e Job does Job have to go out to rob people to provide for his household? When the enemy curses your provision must a man go and steal in order to fulfil scripture? Pastor please give context because this scripture may be perceived to lead man to suicide trying to fulfill a scripture which is not divided correctly.

No. These are Patriarchal religions. Laws were made for Man because he know who they are. Men need to control men's behavior.

Yes the bible says mankind in some areas. And Moses commanded man to follow the ways of the Lord but God wants all of us to obey him so it dosent exclude women from taking care of their household

After Adam and Eve fallen, The curse God put on women was to suffer pain at childbirth , and for men to labour hard to provide . In some rare instances men are not able to provide , due to severe infliction on their health .
