An absolutely genius masterpiece. I felt the utter devastation of Nick Cage's character when he held the doll and asked, "HOWDY GIT BURNED??!!" I was also shook to my core as the MC put up resistance until the end, screaming, "NOT DA BEEZ!!! NOT DA BEEEEEZZZ!!!" No wonder that part was deleted for the more sensitive viewers.

1- the original is much better. You guys should watch it. 2- Valley Girl is probably one of Nick Cage's best movies and you should really check it out. You don't even have to react to it. It's just a good movie about teens in the 80s and Cage plays a decent, level headed character for a change 😊

When I was a kid, we had this channel in rural Alaska called RATNET, in which there was a show before Saturday night live, called Tundra Terror Theatre, in which they showed horror movies. Sometimes intentionally bad, horror movies which were good. They showed the original of this movie, scared.the beans out of me

Lol Nick cage is a genius. He has plenty of movies where he has great performances. He just choosed to go in B movies and explore many things. If you listen to the interview with Andrew garfield, peter dinklage etc... that came out not too long ago you will definitely see that man is a genius and one of a kind. In his last movie Pig he has an oscar worthy performance.
