Dan Barton, founder of the Wicker man Oxford Project introduces this year's competition to design the 2011 Wicker Man. The charity this year is Maggies, www.maggiescent... a charity to counsel Cancer patients after diagnosis.
Please return for regular updates about this year's project, including the build, the tour, and eventually the burn at the Oxford Round Table Fireworks display at South Parks in Oxford. Last year's even was a huge success, and the 2011 event promises to be even more popular and raise even more money for its supported charities.
