About Anne with an E:
Building on the success of the acclaimed first season of ‘ANNE with an E’, we return to Prince Edward Island in the late 1890s for more of Anne Shirley-Cuthbert’s adventures (and misadventures) with growing up.
As the Cuthbert family deals with the consequences of their shifty new boarders, Anne also befriends Cole, a fellow student who is bullied at school. Meanwhile, Gilbert experiences life outside of Avonlea, working on a steamship alongside Sebastian, a Trinidadian sailor.
This season dives deeper into explorations of gender, race, sexuality, bullying, prejudice, and community, further connecting the world of the viewer and the world of Avonlea.

If you read the book and watch some older versions of Anne of Green Gables, you'll see that she doesn't /always/ wear braids. I love the iconic braids, but it would also be fun to see her in some different styles

You have to wait cause in the story and in the others version of the series, they are grown up, they made their studies and live a lot of other adventures far away to another before that happen ^^ Moira may have made some changes but, I don't think it will be very important ones. Anne will denied her love for Gilbert until he get engaged to another woman and before that she will threw him away when he annonce to her he fell for her.. so will see. Look the others versions if you want to have an idea of their storyline ;) (Sorry for the mistakes I'm french ^^)

This series is a great voice for the showing of all that was in the past and women's power and relates to real life issues and Anne has to gain influence to be heard. We can clearly see the point of the author in well filmed scenes and it expresses well the behavior of the characters. To see even more of this amazing series and the dialogues that just fit so well with the intention of each adventure and acts, I HIGHLY recommend YOU to watch this serie (2017) and to be astonished by the so powerful words they can give you, as well as a very well created background story.

It hurts me so much the fact that such a beautiful series, easy to admire and cry for its messages, that they do not launch a fourth season just because cbc and netflix came up with to cancel it. I still have the faith that it will come out somewhere else or that they decide to return to let anne whit an and return, also that they left an open ending and thousands of things that were not resolved, and it hurts me that even not releasing a new season , having left ilbert and anne for last. 1:07 Funny that the writer of the show mentioned Anime coz when I stumbled upon the show in Netflix, one of the reasons I checked it out is coz I thought, in the Netflix thumbnail, she looked like a main character in one of those World Masterpice Theater Anime series, like the Daddy Long Legs anime series, which I used to watch when I was a kid.
