I almost spat my coffee, Parra resting players before the spoon match , stop it 😅

And if they rest players gives "Dargons" a chance at the top 8

Hearing how cheese talks about bellyache is amazing, not the first person to play under Bellamy that says he’s a family oriented man, definitely going to be a hall of fame coach.

Most sports have referees that referee and interpret rules differently. For example Rugby Union the players know certain referees dont allow the defensive line as close to the ruck line or they call fast rucks so hands cant be in there as long to steal but players and coaches are aware of this so they can adjust. The issue with the NRL is that referees seem to referee teams differently rather than games so a penalty for the Roosters or Panthers isnt a Penalty for the Tigers or Titans and it must be so frustrating playing for those teams seeing the incosistancy every week
@sanraku8882 ай бұрын
I don't how people can expect consistency when every situation is going to be different and every referee will interpret differently. I'm happy with a small margin of error every now and again, but what annoys me most is the incessant whinging after every game. Some calls will go your way, others won't. It's a part of sport and you're wasting energy and limiting your enjoyment by setting unrealistic standards.

One of Manly's sin bins was for repeated infringements. Waddells was for swinging arm straight into the nose. Only one was for shoulder to the head.

Regarding the "spoonbowl", hey not everyone can make the top 8 or top 4, and for supporters of teams that are outside the 8 we set our little micro-goals to keep it interesting. For the Wahz I wanted to make the 8... when that went away I wanted to be in the top 12... now I my goal is to finish above the Titans! 🤣

There is consistency in the NRL it goes: If it's Storm, Penrith or Bulldogs the whistle magically disappears on blatant penalties/6 agains and it's not 10 in the bin. Everyone else it's 10 in the bin and get CSI out to investigate every frame looking for a penalty/6 again or reason to say no try. Broncos used to get the bias but not this year for some reason.

Eels already by far have the most spoons. We almost have as many as roosters have premierships 😂😂😂

You need a player like Ray Price who in the 9 seasons he was there you made 7 Grand Finals. Immortal in Parramatta fans opinion, alongside Sterling and Kenny. Immortal...
@charv3z2 ай бұрын
The NRL/ St. PVL has mentioned that the NRL is about story telling, i think he said it in his immortals speech last week. Creating the narrative (or result) through the referees, the refs "putting the whistle away" or "missed the high tackle" when its convenient is apart of story telling (close to finals) The dogs v wahs game was so obvious. The NBA does their best with their referees too. My tin foil hat is so hard right now haha

They gas light us by saying there's going to be inconsistency, um no there's consistency it goes: If it's Storm, Penrith or Bulldogs it's not 10 in the bin or the whistle goes missing, everyone else it's 10 in the bin and get CSI out to look for a penalties and reasons to take tries off them

Easts problem holding the ball is probably directly related to the experience of the halfback when compared to Hughes or Cleary. Just needs a bit more time to learn the rhythm/game management.
@SkeletorsSon2 ай бұрын
Yep, Walker is not a ball player and needs to work on it, neither of our halves run the ball either which allows teams to jam the next guy on from Keary and Walker, Lachlan Galvin is a great ball player and everything Sam Walker was supposed to be, Sammy just needs that ball playing and a longer kick

Eels don't need to be so negative - they need to go all out to beat St George, and then carry the form in to the final game. I'm sure you agree thats the best option!!!

I was in Melbourne watching the Monster Trucks a few weeks ago, and walking past goshs paddock saw the storm running round after the tigers game, and Craig was laughing, I thought it was an imposter for a minute

21:47 I've been saying this for 3 years now, Teddy, Keary and to an extent yourself need to show some leadership and control the way you play, your situational awareness is pathetic
@briankennedy11922 ай бұрын
8:06 Apart from Sutton interpreting the games rules like he owns the game and nobody dare question him and lets say what what. everyone who has been watching the game for over 10-15 years can see, why is captain Stephen Crichton receiving preferential treatment for every incident he's involved in, Flanagan incident, Crichton. Shoulder charge to the head against Dolphin's, Crichton. 3-4 weeks for JWH and anyone else, Radley would have got 5. Wests magpie fan from the 70s here, cmon, gee up going on who's going to gain from it, anybody?? Jimmy cmon mate even as an ex bulldog you have to admit that's twice now, maybe he'll get his come uppance in a crucial finals game, who knows with these jimbobs in charge, hand slightly touches face, ten in bin, it really is getting to the stage where ppl turn off in droves, thats the final winter old mate.
