Thank you for sharing this! The Wild Unknown was indeed my first introduction to tarot, back in 2016. I have the 2nd edition independent printing, and I've used that deck so much that the edges are all yellowed... I looked at many different decks before choosing TWU as my first deck. What got me was the 5 of Cups. At that time I was deep in grief over the loss of a white horse that I loved dearly, even though at that time I'd already had five years to process the loss. (That grief is still there, to this day.) I saw that 5 of Cups with the white horse, head lowered in sorrow, and it hit me right in the feels. Now that my deck is well loved, with yellowed edges and all, I think it might be time to treat myself to this pocket edition, which would also be my first tarot in a tin! 😄

I am so jealous. I ordered the mini on amazon US like 3 months ago when it became available for pre order here and still don't have it yet. Hopefully I will this time next week. I don't have any copy of this deck. Seems a little intimidating to me. Yet, it just keeps calling to me. Glad the mini came out when it did. Who knows if I jive with it I may finally spring for the full size.

Obviously it's cute as anything- but after seeing the justice card I was really looking forward to more colourful highlights- would have been cheerful a d fun and set it apart even more. I am thinking of buying it and adding my own embellishments!!!! SACRE BLEU! I know it may seem sacrilege but I dont think the creator would mind
