I would love to hear more videos on this topic! I am like you, ALWAYS loved the west and Native culture. I live in Southern Alberta Canada, where the Blackfoot are (Blackfeet in the US), so we often can find arrowheads, tipi rings, and some artifacts from battle sites between the Blackfoot and enemy tribes (of which they had many). Plus, we are not far from battle site in the US such as the little big horn, and many others. We were going to go for the 5th time this summer but that will likely not happen due to Covid sadly. Anyways, love your videos, especially on this topic. Thank you for taking the time to do them :)

Boy that sounds really exciting to be able to find all those artifacts. That is right up my alley. I am curious. What are the tipi rings made of? I am sure you get some cold weather up there!! Thank you for watching and I am sure I will do more on this topic.

Mystery Mike They are simply rocks the native peoples used before they started to use pegs. It was largely used during the times before horses when the tipis were much smaller due to having only dogs to pull them. So you can find them, especially after a prairie fire burns the grass away. We also have a medicine wheel nearby as well. Certainly can get cold! I really don’t understand how the native people or settlers survived at all in it!

WhisperingCanadian That is so interesting. So far I have only found real nice arrowheads, but my brother closer to Baltimore City MD believe it or not found a piece of jewelry. Other farmers in the area where I live have found some really nice hatchet heads. The farmer told me that he found it on a stone fence row that someone took out of the field and laid it there and didn’t recognize it as he did. Those are some neat things you have around you. The older I get the harder it is for me to take the cold. The cold here is nothing compared to what you get.

Mystery Mike That would be very cool! My dad has found majority of our arrowheads and artifacts, he did find a club, and an axe head. Along with a bottom half of a human jaw. We had it looked at and if i remember correctly it was dated to the 16th century, but id have to double check with my dad. Yeah, I think the older everyone gets the more they dislike the cold, guess thats why so many Canadians go to Florida and Arizona for the winter haha.

After your shad video I went out and got a few with my cousin. The next morning went back for shad and in the middle of the action tied on a top water lure since fish were surfacing and i hooked up but I lost it since my gear wasn’t set up for it, must have been a giant to rip the braid.. I was sad losing it but now I know the striper are there eating the shad. So I been going back with thicker line and bigger rod but no luck. Keep an eye out in your PO Box sent u some small things, it might arrive in separate packages. Congrats on 1k! U should reorganize your tackle box for 1k or do an asmr ramble about fishing or farming or something that is important to you and how u got into it from the beginning.

Now and then I will get something that hits my line hard and snaps it. A lot of time I am thinking it is the stripers or maybe walleye. I am not entirely sure. Here it is you all the way across the other side of the country and experiencing the same things as me fishing wise haha. But boy every time those big ones get away like that it makes you want to go back even more. Thanks for sharing your story. I am looking forward to receiving what you sent. Thank you very much I truly appreciate it. Thank you for the support and I will definitely try to fit those ideas in the video.

Hey, Mike. If you can, I'd like to have a few helpers to improve a project for my best friend who's character is the main character in the project. See my KZbin playlist (The Unexpected Adventure trailers) playlist.
