These people seem like they are from another planet! and another era. Had to turn the subtitles on. I think they're overestimating the qualifications needed to be "captain" of this little club - Terry would have been just fine, he appears to be running the place already anyway. Felt sorry for him.

It’s a very true to life representation for the early seventies except the locker room language was tamed down somewhat for TV. It certainly wasn’t from another planet. Colin Welland had been a rugby league player himself so he knew how to portray the behind the scenes activities of the club and its players.

Thanks me lady, I have bookmarked that Play For Today. I totally understand if you want to wait, the format this channel has now adopted (broadcasting episodes on the day time originally broadcast) is not for everyone. Glad you enjoy it!

@@majordolbyscat I like that old school feel though, same time, same day every week so everyone's watching at the same time like in the old days when you only had 4channels. But, my memory has had it so remembering something from 5wks ago is a struggle. Lol. Also inpatient so no way I'll be able to wait!
