Cardi b proved it and now a lot of the TikToker are trying to diversify so they’re set once all the TikTok hype dies down. But it’s nothing new. The reason why Jack black went into acting was to get his name out there for his music. It’s fun to compare the different generations and how they navigate their success but societies tools and values change so there’s no point in comparing. If Bella poarch was born in Jack blacks time she probably wouldn’t be famous but the same could probably be said of Jack black if he were to be born in this generation. Metal is kinda a dying genre and half of the characters he plays would be cancelled nowadays. Fame and success aren’t guaranteed so it’s unlikely that anyone taken out of the circumstance that bred their success would still succeed. Let’s not confuse our admiration for someone with anything else
