Literally people just have to like you. Then they’ll support whatever you do. Cardi b proved it and now a lot of the TikToker are trying to diversify so they’re set once all the TikTok hype dies down. But it’s nothing new. The reason why Jack black went into acting was to get his name out there for his music. It’s fun to compare the different generations and how they navigate their success but societies tools and values change so there’s no point in comparing. If Bella poarch was born in Jack blacks time she probably wouldn’t be famous but the same could probably be said of Jack black if he were to be born in this generation. Metal is kinda a dying genre and half of the characters he plays would be cancelled nowadays. Fame and success aren’t guaranteed so it’s unlikely that anyone taken out of the circumstance that bred their success would still succeed. Let’s not confuse our admiration for someone with anything else

I love Dead Man's Bones, so glad it got some recognition here. It's a fun album, inspired by Disney's Haunted Mansion. Ryan's voice reminds me of Ian Curtis, so it really fits the records theme. Definitely worth checking out.....can't recommend enough.

I would actually like to know your thoughts on internet stars making music. Because theres some absolute laughable garbage, some decent but still lackluster stuff (The D'Amelio stuff is not terrible, but is VERY basic and laughably out of touch with reality and a tad try hard imo) to some pretty good stuff, I genuinely listen to Bella Poarch's current releases bc theyre honestly good! Its intriguing.
i actually really like that bella poarch song. she has a lot of potential imo.

Every MCU main cast member can sing and dance. Fact Also in the 50s, 60s and 70s many random celebrities released low budget LPs including Jayne Mansfield crooning classical poetry, Robert Mitchum's attempt at calypso and Mae West belting out garage rock tunes. Truly unique stuff!

I'm from the Philippines, and I can assure you, only a few people know Ricky Gervais. And that hit song of his clearly did not last long as no one here plays it in their homes or karaokes anymore. In fact, this was the first time J heard of this song lmao, and almost every family with a speaker system in the squatter areas play exclusively 80s and 70s songs, for some reason.

Everyone else on this list had their "music career" at the same time as their acting career. Also nice job on mentioning that factoid about More to Lose being big in the Philippines. This is the first video I've seen that mentions that.
