Just about to comment the same thing since this video was recommended out of nowhere. KZbin algorithm strikes again just in time. Well , in the specific case in this video, well deserved. People really disrespect celebrities for nothing, they're normal human beings just like us and "fans" do tend to forget that.

Exactly. I have eviscerated men with words after they tried to say something rude or inappropriate, and when they tried the "wow, someone has an attitude," I wouldn't let up. I'd say, "you approached ME. I was minding my business and you decided to say something that you know is rude and now you're upset because you got called out for behaviour that you know was going to get you blow-back." I have no sympathy for rude people. If they don't want to be embarrassed? Then they need to think before they speak. A lot do it to get a reaction.

But Will didn't get it and switched to rage mod. As far as I can see, there was a very strange and unpleasant misunderstanding. *_-----------------------------------------------------------_* *Upd.* looks like some commentators ignored the meaning of my comment and fixated on "cheeks kissing greeting". I wrote in general about the tradition of greeting with cheek kissing (historically these was a kisses). And how exactly "cheek to cheek" or actually touching the cheeks with lips - these are just varieties of the same thing, and it doesn't matter here in this video: the bottom line is that the very phenomenon of this way of greeting was unfamiliar to Will Smith, which is why such a misunderstanding occurred. Also, no need to generalize. Personally, you can greet in some way, but people from other families, social strata, other age/generation, another region of the country, another village will greet in a slightly different way (I can say this judging by my observations of various families and people from different regions, with whom I personally know). But, as i said above, this isn't the essence of what is happening in the video.

Personally, I've always thought Nicki's popularity was unjustified. She should have had her 15 minutes of fame like Lil Kim and then disappeared from the spotlight. Cause I thought you just said ''blacks'' with an s is racist and black isn't? Because it refers to people? What if I say the sentence ''there are different shades of blacks''. referring to the actual color. Is that racist? Maybe if you weren't so 100% sure you're right about censorship and would actually do research on the subject you would realize every free country in the world has freedom of speech. It is one of the most important human right. I meant no harm when I brought up the fact that she was calling a white man ''nigguh''. It just made ME unconfortable and I was praphrasing what SHE said, I thought it was cringe and pointed it out. You felt insulted by it for some reason and thought I was being racist. But did you actually read my comment or you were too busy being triggered by it? I was just pointing out a clear double standard. That's exactly what freedom of speech is for. That's how cultures evolve, by interacting with each other. You think it's okay for blacks to call other blacks the N word. But if it's not okay for others, why would it be ok for you to use it? Double standards are the enemy of equality, don't you get that? Intent is the important part here. If someone says that word with the intent of hurting your feelings or not. What part of my initial comment made you think my intent was to hurt you or anyone with a darker skin? People have different ethnicity ratios, people have different skin tones. The Simpsons are yellow. Is it racist to call the simpsons yellow? If you're 2% African but look white, can you use the N word? I hope you realize none of this makes any sense to me. The second KZbin starts censoring this type of very healthy dialogue/debate like facebook does, I'm off this platform. if you think it's okay to have double standards and don't realize racism itself is a double standard then you need to stop trying to educate others and educate yourself first because you're basically arguing against your own point. 2pac is my favorite artist of all time, imagine how many times I heard the N word. I like how that word sounds, I pretty much never use that word though. But if I can't quote someone using it, or talk about it in a history class, then we have clearly lost freedom of speech and that is not a good thing for anyone because it will lead to more double standards in the future.

Normally they like their stars young and stupid. But she's managed to market herself in a way where they think that, yet communicates intelligence to others. I think with Germanotta, she said she'll wrap her music up in all the stereotypical nonsense to get the shallow views, but put intelligent messaging in there so the industry misses it.

Why do men get pissy when women defend themselves. Nicki was right and had the right to react the way she did. She made her point. It was a very Nicky reaction, but it was right.

agree. not a sophisticated well thought out response amongst either of those boys; not ever acknowledgement amongst them that there is something deeply missing in their bag of tricks ( ability to respond and hold a conversation) - I mean not ever the ability for 'self reflection in the moment' - yep. I agree 'Stupid boys" it's embarrassing for us blokes, right?

There's nothing offensive in the Angelina Jolie interview. She just took it the makeup comment the wrong way. The only thing bad about the interview was that she kept snatching the mic while Jolie was answering.

She could’ve worded it a bit better but I do agree that snatching the mic away each time was annoying and unprofessional. You hear the interviewer much more than Angelina.

I think the bad part was when Jolie told her she really scared her kids and was showing that she viewed it closer to traumatizing than a prank and the woman keeps pushing like “I would totally do that to my kids” insensitive af in my opinion. Certainly one of the more mild examples of the disrespect, I agree with you there.

It wasn't offensive, the video was about unprofessional interviewers ruining the interview. The Angelina Jolie one was unprofessional cause she kept over talking her and not letting her speak.

I have watched this whole interview and wanted to add a little background. I think there was already tensions before this interview. I forget why tbh. But I THINK they had interviewed her previously, there was a falling out of some kind either during or after the interview (if you know Joe then you know he’s always got some kind of beef with some kind of artist) which lead to her not going on the show again for a really long time so this interview was actually super big deal. Which is why I don’t think (when Joe Budden initially starts laughing) that they are laughing directly at Nicki…. If that were the case, knowing who and how Nicki is, they would be hella, hella stoopid… I think he is laughing at the fact that she literally becomes the emphasis of “0 to 100, real fucking quick” and starts popping off at Rory / putting him in his place - which is in fact funny… Her slapping him down the way she did is hilarious. I also think the laughter came mainly because of how extreme the rumour she choose to use as an example (which she obviously needed to do to make her point really hit home and stick). Rory’s demeanour definitely changed after this point. They all realised she really was not playing at all. She initially was like “this white boy needs to stfu right this second”. I was actually scared for him at one stage tbh because she was not hiding the distain she was feeling in that moment at all! But, by the end if the interview they seemed to be in a much better place. Definitely, definitely NOT trying to take away from the seriousness of it all or defend Rory in anyway (he is yet another non black person profiting from black culture all whilst probably being not being fully aware as to why this is problematic). Just wanted to add a little context. I advise anyone interested to watch the whole interview - It’s worth a watch :) Have a bliss day, all 🙏🏾✨🧿🍃💙

And I realize now that she needed better handlers. Better people around her that should have been on top of those things protecting her. As soon as some of those questions were asked, there should have been someone stepping in and saying "Okay we're done here". You can even see Britney's eyes darting around. That's someone needing support and protection.
