Those Maasdam come-a-longs are well made. Mine was purchased in the mid-70's when I was doing a lot of off-roading. It is pretty well worn after 50 years of use, but last week it dragged a 16" diameter X 18 foot long walnut trunk out of the woods.

Wow, seriously WOW. Your kit, your truck, your supplies and your attitude, all say we will do this. I cannot wait to see the part two, when it all comes together. Yes I know it is majorly different to where I live in Wales, UK. But hey, I can at least live my dreams through you. Best wishes and respect to you as ever.

I have a good Wales story, from 🇺🇸: I was in a bar room having a PBR. Two extra chubby gals were talking and they had really cool British accents. I asked "you two ladies from Scotland?" "Wales!" they replied with disdain. "Oh," I said, "are you two whales from Scotland?"

Wicked aerial shots from your "device" man! Wicked truck and excellent gear choices! I really like how you have the western gun belt setup and the human opener together. On to the next part!

Cool video. I’ve got a marlin 30-30 that I have taken down over 25 deer with, and they look cool being lever guns lol.

Do you use bleach to sanitize the water in your 5 gallon can? How often do you clean it? How do you keep the container stored and ready for a fresh fill-up?
@GruntProof2 жыл бұрын
My cans are always full and ready. I just purify them once I have to refill them.

@@GruntProof can you please do a detailed video? I want to get a 5 gallon water can, but don't know how to keep it sterilized without techniques i hate, like bleach. Noone else has done a video on this. How long can the water stay in a can before needing change? The water bladder same problem.

I've seen a nice hack elsewhere. A second battery and 6010 electrodes in case something breaks. You may be able to do it with the saws and cables and get home instead of waiting for help like a civilian woman 🙂 but yeah, that looks prepped AF. I carry twice as much of water just for my overnighters though. Take a shower in the woods and you feel home not in combat you need to escape alive from. It's usually thirst what gets me home Have you seen those Russian trousers with tick traps? kzbin.info/www/bejne/nHPIh3R_hMalmsk

I think you'd need more than 2 batteries to get the 240v for welding. Maybe smaller wire would work.
@trollmcclure18844 жыл бұрын
@@GruntProof NO. They use 2 or 3. 36V is more than enough. Lead acid batteries create hunderds of Amps. The arc can actually be too wild. Use the negative terminal connected with thick jumper cable to the electrode and the spatter is not too bad. Look it up. It's a cool hack. Part two: How to improvise welding sunglasses with soot 😛
