Nice Dave getting taste of his own medicine. Now he will know how it feels when someone else speaks in middle of your game. Personally I would prefer to continue the game even if clock runs out if the positions are interesting.

Wouldn't knight to a6 make more sense double discovered?. I think it would end in mate as well
@roen044 жыл бұрын
Levi Ben if black played Na6 then the Ra8 line would be blocked... the white king could then retreat and escape c3, b3, or a3 and even with the attacking queen on b6 or d4 the white king would have opportunities to evade.
@Jivvi4 жыл бұрын
@@leviben7394 That's not double discovered check, it's just double check. Double discovered check is only possible in a very, very rare situation involving an en passant capture, where both pawns are blocking a check, and the capture clears both squares and uncovers two attacks on the king.

Classic never give up never surrender. Wow. Kudos, Dave. Yup, that 33d piece, the clock, doesn't go away, it just gets stronger. When I saw your King a-hikin', I thought it was going to be a short game. Instead a hilarous and instructive one. Thanks, Dave, Kai, and Brian.

I thought the Q check that forced the king to run was an obvious move, but I can understand why Dave was upset that someone pointed it out. Not cool IMO. And the discovered check towards the end was an obvious move just begging to be made. I missed where to move the knight though, so I would have screwed that mating net up.

6.12-time black knight move to e4 and then white force either move white king or lose his white knight to defend the king. Next move would be a black queen to b6. If he moves his white king before. Then same move the black queen to b6. Follow by a white knight to b4. Then black queen to b4.
