Can you please discuss your thoughts on the recent discussions by some of the Anderson children publicly regarding issues at home? You do a really nice job discussing how to keep teens close to the faith when raising them and some pitfalls you notice of certain ifb families that cause children to turn away. I was wondering if you had any thoughts about how to possibly help steer adult or teens back to the faith when they have appeared to stray.

I won't be discussing those situations per se. My prayer is that relationships can be mended. It would break my heart as a parent if this happened in my family and my prayers are for everyone involved. I don't know any specifics of any situations, I can only speak on what I do in my household and with my own kids. I can only speak for what has worked for us and what hasn't. I will publicly state that I stand against any type of abuse- domestic, physical, or even emotional abuse. I have always stood publicly against it and I will always publicly stand against it. On this channel, I will continue to try to help parents, especially first generation Christians, navigate the waters of raising kids and teens. I firmly believe that traditional and Christian values can be passed on in a loving home.
