The Will Starr Polka

Already posted this tune twice on You Tube but this version was done on November 14th 2021 for Tartan Tunes, just to prove that I can still play a bit, and my good friend and virtuoso musician, Leonard Brown did some very sympathetic backing on it.

Always had good nights at Mauchline/Sorn for Hogmanay, Hebbie Gray travelled all the way from Keith in the north east and stayed with me after the dance, he sadly passed away a couple of years ago.

Sounds very well.Must say I'm not so well up in Polka's but I remember one very well,although I don't have it in my collection. It is a Powrie Polka under the title of "Cherrie Bank Polka."

Yes, a few polkas composed by Scottish musicians in the 60s and later, I've always liked this one but never seen it published though the Cherrybank Polka was.
