I finished sewing the dress today, and I absolutely love it! It’s really easy to sew, and the instructions are very clear. Just a heads up, the dress requires not only a lot of fabric but also a lot of thread-better to buy two spools right away. For anyone with a larger bust, I’d definitely recommend skipping the top gathering channel. I’m excited to see more patterns from you in the future!

This dress is gorgeous. Another option for the dress is to swap the front and back if you're a big busted girl. I've done this with a few patterns and enjoy a lower back neckline.

What a gorgeous dress! I’m very much a beginner with sewing but think I could manage this if I take my time and do a bit each day. I prefer a slightly higher neckline due to surgery scars - do you think it would be easy to adjust this, or would it throw everything else off, like the sleeves?

From what I can see from the pattern shown in the video you can raise the neckline no problem.

Just curious, why is it better to include a hem facing? I have never seen that.

It’s not necessarily better, just a style preference. I find when using a very light fabric it gives the skirt a bit more weight which makes it fall nicely. But a normal rolled hem is also fine for this dress ☺️
