Rosie, color pallet of all your projects always looks so perfect! But it’s the most difficult part for me - choosing right color combination - the gold middle between declutter and boring.))) maybe you can give some advice in color theory for beginners?.)

I really like this technique, I’ve seen it done in slightly different ways but this looks easier. Ive seen people tack each side back and then sew them in but you may need to hand sew them. I tried doing it with my sewing machine and couldn’t get it to work. I make bags for my shop but I do the traditional zipper tabs but it’s such a pain because if you don’t leave enough room the tabs don’t pop out right. Plus the ends always point in just slightly. I don’t quilt bags very often I use a lot of Thermolam plus or flex foam. Do you think this could work on those types of stabilizers? I’ve never seen the iron on wadding that’s awesome.

Wow - you are so talented. I have only ever made zippered pouches, fabric hearts and quilt as you go projects in sewing. I would really love to make an item of clothing one day. I also crochet, knit, embroider and cross stitch so love multi-crafting. May I ask how you learnt to sew please? ❤ You are going to look so pretty at your friend’s wedding. The sleeves are super-cute. Have a lovely time. X
