Wether it’s a letter or a speech it is evident that the concept works and constitutes do so.

My brother! The Making of a Slave is true. This was actually done and we are still suffering today. Pay attention how black people always are against each other and how high the divorce rate in the black community.

My understanding is that willie lynch was a white man from West Indies. Willie Lynch traveled to Virginia to have gain control as at the time in that area there was less control of slaves. It’s a horrible time in history.

People often split hairs on the letter vs speech situation. We view it as a "speech" because it wasn't for us.. But information in that time period that was written, typed, or printed was, by definition, a letter. This letter held instruction for the descendents of everyone that attended. I'd leave my legacy cliff notes to what I was working on too

This book is a necessary companion book to the actual Willie Lynch Letter. The letter is real enough to be continuously sold online at the top literary sites without any disclaimer (where I purchased my copy from for $1). They hope you all keep believing the letter fake so you'll continue to ignore it and stay ignorant of its success and continuing effect. It is an instruction manual on how to break the psychology of the African/Islander people who were conquered/ trafficked/enslaved and when it was properly carried out the victims would unconsciously pass it down to their offspring and continuing generations. The next time one of you pose the question of why 'we' can't be like 'everyone else' just know that your descendance in our history here has not at all been like theirs. You and your family did not choose or ask to be brought here and your trip was not an arrival from a cruise ship with all of your family accompanying you of their own choice. 'Everyone else' was not legally forbidden to learn to read and write also there wasn't a legal system created to recapture the escaped captives. This stuff is affecting you all right now but you are so numb to the generational trauma many of us are still engulfed in but lack the awareness and consciousness to escape it. "We Can't Fix What We Don't Know Is Broken"💯

After everything that was done to slaves they found a way escape their captives, learn how to read, write, and thrive in spite what happened to them….In my opinion BP are the strongest people I know so be proud of the accomplishments and continue to fight for what’s right…

It was a speech. Not An letter. You don’t believe that the letter is true ? What he says in letter ? You don’t think what he says isn’t the problem within the black communities within black people. Black communities black people there is no unity because of this letter and being oppressed after the fact.

It's called a letter because the speech was recorded/preserved in letter form

Just got done watching ‘Animal’ starting Ving Rhames. This film is entirely based around that letter. “It doesn’t matter if it’s real, it matters if it’s true.” As a mixed white and Spanish male from South Carolina, I have seen the violence that such tactics to control certain people as a whole. I personally hardly get respect from either side because I am of two different races. We’ve got to start loving each other and realizing that even if those letters aren’t physically real, the symbology of the theory of control over those who aren’t “superior” is true. OneLove brother, and God bless ✊ ✌️

In the historical context and with future implications, it is absolutely a matter of whether or not information is factual. There is a difference between factual and plausible. It is plausible that the 2020 U.S. election was tampered with, but according to investigations, it is not true, yet thousands of people believe the falsehood.

It was a speech documented, and sent amongst the south where they had the most slaves. So it was known as a letter. But its a documented speech.

My mom told me about this when I was 13 years old I cried for being teased about being dark skin. 😢 It was a speech not a letter. The speech was real the letter never existed.

The entire thing is a hoax that has been irrefutably debunked as such. The story was fabricated in the 1970s, and there was no speech, or letter. Nonetheless, that doesn't detract from the message though. 🤙🖖

The William Lynch speech, also known as the Willie Lynch letter, is an address purportedly delivered by a William Lynch (or Willie Lynch) to an audience on the bank of the James River in Virginia in 1712 regarding control of slaves within the colony. In recent years, it has been widely exposed as a hoax.
