I exclusively pumped with my daughter, and at first I was using the medela pump they gave me in the hospital. I agree with you 100%, it takes away part of your humanity to be tethered to the wall every 3 hours. I ended up getting the Freemie Liberty pump and it changed my life. It's not as completely cordless as the Willow, but if you can live with tubes under your shirt and a tiny pump clipped to your belt, I believe it has a lot of advantages over the Willow, including being much cheaper. Highly recommend!

I am going to be getting this with my daughter, I feel like the Pros outweigh the Cons. With an autistic toddler and a newborn, it is going to be impossible to sit and pump. I am also really excited to see they released the Containers, so bags don't have to be your only options. The Elvie is also said to have less suction and with my first I needed high stimulation, my Spectra didn't work. Thank you for this! 🥰

I feel the same as you...desperate to find a pump that allows me to move on with my life instead of being confined to a chair pumping for hours of my day and losing more sleep. Bought Willow generation 3.0 and so disappointed because it’s wobbly and bulky so I don’t feel that I can be as mobile as I want to be with it. Maybe the fit will feel better and more secure if I can find a good bra that holds it in place better. What bra brand do you recommend? Also do you recommend a bra size that’s bigger than what you normally wear to accommodate for this bulky Willow pump? Thanks in advance.

Waymee Lwin The bra I mentioned in this video which is the one I use is from a store called thyme here in Canada. I found it under the nursing bra section. Willow recommends using a bra that does not have underwire but I feel like this bra that does was able to give me more support. I went with my original size since the part that would cover the pump (in this case the pump) was very stretchy. Make sure that it fits tight on the bra. I hope this helps and hope it makes your experience a little bit better 🙏🏼🙏🏼 once you get the hang of it you’ll literally be able to go anywhere while pumping💜

Hi thanks for the video we recently got this pump the one problem we’re having with it is the milk is pooling up in the flange tunnel where the nipple sits and not being sucked into the milk bag its happening on both , any ideas? Thanks again.

FARAH AZIM hi love, I have a PO Box in the states so I was able to ship it there. You can use it without the app for sure but if there’s an error messenger on the pump you’ll have to guess if it’s because it’s not assembled properly or if the bag is full. I only used the app to keep track of the number of times I pumped. It’s fairly easy to download. You can try downloading it before purchasing the pump and see how that goes. Hope this helps 💫

Thanks for this detailed video! May I know if you sized up for the nursing bra or did you get your usual size? Also, how do you lower the suction level? I find the suction too strong and my nipples hurt after a pump session.

Jasmine Lim I’m really happy you found it helpful 🤗The bra I purchased from thyme I got my usual size. The bra was marked as nursing & pumping bra which kind of gave me an indication that the cup was going to be a bit bigger the the usual. I pumped on the lowest level. Try to add a nipple cream before pumping see if the helps? Also, be extra sure that you got the right flange size. That makes a huge difference. Let me know how it goes

How did you decide between the Willow and Elvie? I'm so torn! Was it just the price difference? Also was there a big learning curve while using this pump?

Honestly, I was going to purchase the Elvie at first because of the reusable container. When I did the calculation of the price per bag unit for the willow it just seemed outrageous. Also, for some reason the Elvie wasn't available at the time (sold out literally everywhere) and Willow was having an amazing sale when I bought it (which they usually do during American long weekends). Willow now offers the option of purchasing a reusable container separately. I have been alternating using the milk bags when i'm out an about or during my 3 am pumps & the container throughout the day when i'm at home. So far I really enjoy having the option to alternate both specially being able to have the bag option when i'm out that way you only need to rinse the flextube. Also, if you watch enough reviews on how to use the Willow you won't have any problems at all. I was a proo by the time I received mine 8 months ago. I will be doing a review soon on the Willow container on how to use it and my willow hacks! hope this helps & good luck :)

I am planning to get the willow. I nurse my baby and want to buy a hands free pump so I can pump after each feeding to improve my supply and also to pump when my baby is sleeping. Also to power pump. Is this a good pump for me. Mainly to improve my supply by pumping and to be hands free so I can be mobile and take care of my baby as I am pumping. Please let me know. Sherene Carroll yes honestly it saves me from a lot. I do prefer the milk bags instead of the container whenever I’m pumping at night. I feel like it helps me save time in storing milk and just cleaning the flextube and flange quickly. Also you have more mobility with this option! Hope this helps!

Hi! my LO was never able to latch properly so instead of feeding her formula I was able to pump milk every 3-4 hours for her to eat. I was able to produce enough milk to have some in storage so when she ate i was pumping. Let me know if this helps :!
