I was so happy when Kung Fu was cancelled. Since "Warrior" is back for a season 3 on MAX! I was super damn happy that there back. and this shit show Kung Fu was down. Happy, HAPPY I'm.

A co-worker got me hooked on Supernatural, she loved it. This has been called a Prequel, but is it? It wasn't our Winchesters. I didn't like this show from the beginning, but trudged through it just in case. Didn't like Carlos at all, too Woke. Jensen, stop with the woke crap.

TW alienated SPN's core audience before it even aired and then crapped all over canon to boot. I tried to watch a little of it and just couldn't even get past the first episode. The reason SPN worked was Jared and Jensen and no other spn show is going to work without BOTH of them.

I will say as much as I hated The Winchesters it might do better streaming on Amazon. I've watched a few episodes of some really bad shows on Amazon and Netflix. You have the membership anyway and you're bored so you give it a shot out of curiosity. Hopefully, by the time they drop season two Jensen and his wife will have given some thought as to why season one was so poorly received. I kind of doubt it, though. They are both woke AF. I recently saw an interview where Jensen was whining about his own toxic masculinity, lol.

It’s too bad because I like Jensen Ackles. He seems like a great guy and very charming on screen. But I knew “The Winchesters” would fail when they decided to run with his Girl Boss mother being the original hunter of the family in 2022!

The “in 2022” part of my comment is the major point but yeah I do know everything about Supernatural. Like the fact that Season 4 Episode 3 called “In the Beginning”is when Dean finds out his mom was the hunter! Mary even kicks Dean’s ass and that’s how he found the hunter charm. But here’s the thing about that episode there. Clearly, she was hiding the hunter side from John! She even tells Dean that John is looking to purpose but can she say yes when she is a hunter and he won’t understand! Then her entire family is murdered by her father possessed by the yellow eyed demon! Who also kills John and makes his pact to get in the house and feed Sam that sweet demon blood! But there’s the one little snag! Dean sees these events play out alone because Castiel doesn’t trust Sam right now but also, Dean has always seen his mother as a saint! The one who held the family together (boy did they prove that wrong in Season 12). Blaming his father for everything and letting that hatred drive his decisions. This episode shows him that the Virgin Saint Mary was the one who set all of these terrible things in motion! She’s the one who makes a deal with the yellow-eyed demon that allows him into the house. If she’s a bad-ass hunter, she should probably know better! That’s the whole point Castiel is making about Sam trusting his future IRL wife who is a demon. The entire world is in danger Mary made a pact with a demon, the angels can’t figure out the master plan and Sam is helping progress everything because of his pact with a demon! That massive fuck-up to save a MAN’s life is a big NO-NO in 2022 Hollywood! So a show about Mary fails immediately because she will NEVER be vulnerable. Proven by your own words that the characters never were developed. It wasn’t because they didn’t have enough time! They had a whole season. Look what Supernatural does with two characters in just the first episode! Hell, look at the character of John who isn’t even in the first episode! A WOKE CW killed this show before it ever had a chance!

Missing out on Supernatural. 15 seasons, brought back after a five season run and a channel literally died after it’s final episode! And they were brought back not because the show was canceled instead the show was just done after 5 seasons but the fans demanded more! And the channel desperately needed more LOL 😂

Two hot guys driving around the mid-west killing monsters brought a lot of people to the show...action, kicking ass, and monsters for the guys with brotherly bonds and wanting to be there for the family while the other had no other alternative but to get back into the family business after losing his girlfriend to the same thing that killed his mother. That's going to bring a lot of people. The hot guy point is what brought women to the show. Having two hot guys brings more women than shows with all women....especially if the show is poorly written. Aquaman wasn't horrible, but it wasn't great...yet it had the highest woman audience in all of the DC movies. Why? Jason Mamoa with his shirt off and being a stud...this notion to believe if you just check a box and it will be good is foolish. Characters need to be compelling and have an arch it doesn't matter who, what, or whatever they are as long as they are good characters. Of course these shows were cancelled...I didn't even know they were a thing and I'm sure that was the problem for the majority of it. Good to see you getting back at it again Jayne and your voice sounds better...glad you're doing okay

As a lover of Supernatural the prequel is awful. Just bad acting and terrible dialogue. Its just not good :/ had to bring Dean back to get last quarter viewership 😒

I haven't seen either. I forgot Kung Fu existed. I saw clips from the Winchesters it wasn't that bad. Of course it was where Dean,Bobby and Jack returned. I think it was cool Tom Welling played the grandfather.

I watched a few episodes of the Winchesters and discontinued. It's a version of John and Mary but in the alternate universe. Actors are ok, but I kind of lost in the story. So glad it's cancelled.

The Winchesters set in the 70's but they brought in a certain character to not upset a certain group which didn't work and just got him in there to be modern... Made no sense at all and putting him in there for the sake of it made it so distracting and awkward. I like that it got cancelled.

It was so disappointing. There were SO many good angles they could have taken a Supernatural spin off that could have been great. But John and Mary's story was already fleshed out enough. Certainly didn't need to retro it and change everything that's already solid. So many stories we could have wanted. John and Mary's WAS perfect as was. Kung Fu reboot I didn't even know existed. But now looking at the trailer, it is so far removed from what made the original, or even the sequel unique. Not even close. More of an eye roller. This is why I don't watch most shows anymore, with rare exception. Just stick to streaming the old ones, remembering when shows could be good.

CW Kung Fu wasn’t bad. That said, it had no business being called that as it had ZERO relation to the old show. This show had enough going for it that it didn’t need to try to fake its identity by co-opting the name of an unrelated show. Yes, it had its eye-rolling moments with some typically American ‘Hey look we’re totally Chinese!’ dialogue moments, but overall it was rather fun. Also, it was a rare treat to see an American production correctly [from an Asian audience perspective] lean into the visually appealing actor/actress (especially her sister) as opposed to Disney’s absolute insistence to uglify every major Asian rôle in their productions (Mulan excepted).

I have seen supernatural seasons 1-10 at least 3 times. Seasons 11+ became very woke and started being so trash thats why I refuse to rewatch them. I saw the fight scene with John, Mary, and that demon and I knew that was not the John from supernatural. A woke-ified John if you will. I never even considered watching it since then and I am ecstatic that it was cancelled because it was not the John and Mary we know and love

The characters plain sucked in The Winchesters. Never watched Kung Fu, because guess what, women aren't allowed to learn Kung Fu from the Shao-Lin temple! They should have just called it something else entirely. It might have gotten my attention if they did. But if it's trying to go 'woke', I'm not going to watch it. Diversity for diversities sake is killing shows and movies. Stop the nonesense.

I absolutely love Sam and Dean, so I was cautiously accepting of a prequel about John and Mary's early days. But what we got was unwatchable. TW deserved to fail simply because it was a badly thought out, badly written , confusing and unengaging show. If it had followed the show's actual canon, been gritty, with sympathetic characters we could relate to, then maybe it would have stood a chance. Unfortunately, Jensen or who for him, thought that putting the name Winchester out there would be enough to get him an audience. Big mistake, not to mention the previous kerfuffle with Jared finding out on Twitter, which alienated half the fans before it even came out. That said, it doesn' make me happy that a show about any aspect of the Winchester family should fail so miserably. :(

Fact is Jared padalecki killed this show with his twitter rant and not telling his fans to back off Jensen from the get go. Then add the Woke character of Carlos and pushing that character as a primary character sealed its fate. I personally am glad Jensen is forcibly pushed away from SPN and can now work on his talents and leave SPN behind and move on to bigger and better projects.. The SPN fandom on the JP side are not his fans. The spn fans don't deserve the talent that Jensen is. He needs to leave them behind. They are childish and petty. Shame on them all of them. I'm sorry. How was The Winchesters "woke"? Because there were black and brown people in the group? Single parents? Or is it because there was a No Binary actor (playing cis bi)? Because I hate to break it to people, but all of those things existed back in the 70's. Back in Greek and Roman societies, in fact. What's "woke" about any of the show? Did anyone bother to watch it for something other than finding conservative talking points to spew? It wasn't perfect, but neither was Supernatural. It was a decent show with good potential and many more stories to tell. The show wasn't picked up because CW had a change in ownership that's shifting programming to cheaper garbage like reality TV. Congratulations Right Wingers. You're why we can't have anything nice on TV anymore.
