He is a kid living in assisted accomodation, because his family is incapable of caring for him. Therefore, this young man finds pianos in RAILWAY STATIONS in order to practice. He is self-taught, learned how to play by watching performances on youtube. This is after just 18 months of learning. So, yes, the setting is relevant.
