The suspending jerkbait is my favorite winter lure. I got a 3.09 pounder on one back in late December, and on this past Saturday, my dad got a 3.13lb, 24" Chain Pickerel on one too. I live in Connecticut, so our winters are obviously colder than Texas winters.

When I started on a jerkbait with no idea how to even use it haha I would use it as if it was a crankbait. I would still get bass BUT more of the smaller ones. (Am talking about literally 1 month ago lol) Soo I started looking at your videos and got a good idea on how to use it. Started getting 2lbs bass now! (Smaller ponds) I started noticing that bass WOULD actually bite more on the puse! You mentioning this on this videos made me feel good that i was able to recognize that by myself. The my PB right now is just a 3.12 lbs but not stoping there. Thank for your great videos brother. I have learned a lot. Like that new office bro. Yeah, it is pretty easy losing a blade bait. I lost about six of them in 1 month. But I still keep buying them cuz it’s what I have caught almost all of my winter fish on.

Hi, I got a very silly question. I just bought a baitcaster, Kastking Valiant Eagle to be exact. I was wondering, can you turn the handle forwards and backwards? or is it only one direction which is clockwise? I know you can't turn it the other direction and there isn't a button or lock that allows both way turning.

Can't catch a thing on any of the dozen jerk baits I own. Can't even get bit. My fish just don't like them. Maybe there aren't any spots and there definitely aren't any SMB in my lake. Jig all day, Ned all day, drop shot too.
