Oh ok so I cried when you read the letter to yourself at the end. I’m so glad I found your account, and I can’t wait to see what you accomplish this year. I’m definitely manifesting for you to be on the two hot takes podcast ! And just seriously thanks for being you and inspiring to me to be more of my best self. Anxious swifties unite 🥹🩵

People will read your journals. Should you pass away they will absolutely read them. So if you've written anything that would be hurtful to others keep that in mind. If you're dead you won't be able to provide context or further explanation.

I’ve been an avid journal-er since I was 9, and in my experience the journaling is less “feeling zen” and a whole lot more bringing every emotion I was suppressing right up to the surface and feeling miserable. Anger, fear, sadness, allll processed at once😂 it definitely doesn’t calm me. But the recovery afterward does. I puzzle, I game, I read- something that takes my mind off my emotions and feelings and just lets me exist somewhere else. To me that’s what allows me to feel calmer/more free- because I’m not surprising and never addressing how I feel about things to myself, but I’m not trying to process huge emotions or trauma and go right into the rest of my day🤔 Ultimately, everyone is different and I’m glad you found a better alternative to you! Also as a frequent colorer and puzzler, it might surprise you that both of those are also considered a form of meditating! It’s called “active meditation”. It allows you to get into a flow of focus~ other examples are knitting (when you’re practiced) and for some people even exercising~

Aww, Morgan, thank you for that video 🥲 When you said you want to help people “feel like they aren’t alone.” You’re already doing that with this channel. To repeat the first comment I ever left you: “You make me feel less crazy. You make me feel less alone.” Thank you 🙏 And happy new year ❤

FUN FACT: I thought you might be my childhood friend’s daughter. You look like she did when she was younger, you live near where we lived (we’re from NW Indiana), AND you have the same last name! I was like 👀 BUT then you said your mom’s first name once and it was not her, lol - which is good, it makes it less weird that I watch your videos daily.

yayy! I am so glad I found you again! I had seen your other video about being more of a conscious buyer last year. I have been looking out for your channel for months! I couldn't remember your name! Yay to the algorithm picking you back up probably because of the same video idea! I am so happy bc I wanted to buy your tracking system for notion. I have been uploading my clothes on it for hours! This had to take you forever to make! Well I am glad I found you again, I am subscribed now. :)

I just found your channel and am enjoying it. I'm 58 years old and have had anxiety since I was a child. When I was a teenager I started running. I do think this helped my anxiety, although at the time I did not realize that. In college my friends would kid me saying, "you're always running or biking off somewhere," and it was true. I seemed to always have to be moving and I now know this was how I dealt with my anxiety. My niece has anxiety and I worry about her. She is about your age. She works remotely and still lives at home. I want her to get out and have her life but I'm just her aunt. Her parents are wonderful and I am happy to see that people are talking, out loud, about anxiety. Thank you for talking about this and your funny, realistic videos!

I am a teacher and leave for work at 7:00 am. I also live in the Chicago area and it is soooo cold right now. I agree with the morning and sometimes evening routines that I've seen posted on youtube. It seems like everything is very regimented. While this may work for some it doesn't for me. I am getting up 30 minutes earlier so I can stretch, actually eat something before going to work and it has helped. When you talked about puzzles it reminded me of when I taught preschool. I loved doing puzzles with my students! Preschool is Zen for children. You play, learn how to get along with others, so many other amazing activities and you get a nap time. If only I could go back, just for a couple of weeks and not as a teacher.

How am I just now finding your channel?! As a fellow anxious introvert, so much of everything you say resonates with me. Your videos make me feel less crazy. Your videos make me feel less alone. I also find them entertaining, charming and useful. Thank you for taking the time and effort to have a channel. I appreciate you. Also, please tell Goose that I’m really glad he protected you both from that vacuum guy. Well done, Goose. <3

"50% is failing" is very much a north american thing, let me assure you that in other countries 50% is a (minimum) passing gradae. of which 10 to 40% might just be the starting point. so.

Morgan, where did you purchase your couch from? I've been looking for something that exact size and shape and can't find one anywhere!
@morganevelyncook15 сағат бұрын
It’s from West Elm! I can’t remember the exact name of the style but it was the smallest L-shaped couch they had and then we picked what type of fabric we wanted in - pro tip, if you have a pet, do not get one of the tweed fabrics because their little paws will destroy it 😅

This was a great video to watch as we approach the new year! Something that works for me is junk journaling when i want to and not having a daily quota/ or feeling like i have to. Also I like the idea of a morning menu! Thank you for sharing that 😊

Late summer is where my existential crisis lives. I irrationally worry every year that the leaves won't fall of the trees this time 😂 I like the ugly stripped trees and lack of light and decorations in January. People think I'm crazy, but to me January feels like a beautiful blank canvas ❤
