For anyone in central Texas. There was a major outage of version and spectrum services for most of the afternoon on the 10th. Cause was I company that we wernt given the name of where boring somewhere between Austin and Bartlett and drilled through the conduit into the main fiber line. Source: I work for spectrum.

Windstream sucks! Like... hardcore. We have them as the provider in my county, where I am also a fireman. I will say, it doesn't take much to knock out service. With them, though, it takes an act of Congress to get them to call their techs to come in after hours.
