The bottom line is you can only really trust wires. I rely on the Pearstone 8K Hybrid Optical HDMI Cables from B&H. I can see switching in some NDI HX3 cams, but not for anything mission critical, especially in conferences and venue situations where WiFi devices are in contention. The reason I don't use point to point transmitters is due to the power requirements and extra wiring that needs to be done on both ends and I cant mix and match between wired and wireless for latency differences, not to mention mounting hassles. If the NDI feeds can be delay compensated, then maybe that will work to sync with HDMI inputs.
