I just single turbo my gen 2 coyote... what a difference. Stock motor with built 6r80 from Brett larsala. Shift points are identical to 10r80 shoutout to Brett. Tuned by Lund. I daily it, so I am always driving around on wastegate only.

Ess chargers are made for smaller high revving engines. That's why they are keeping the power up top. Ford got the science right combining the Coyote with the 10r80

I have a MT82, TT 62's 5.0, 3.31 rear gears. I assume TT mustang has the same set up. Thing is, 60 roll is bad for this combo. You need to be closer to 66-67-68mph to be in a decent powerband and that is with 62 mm turbos. With 64s i bet spool time will take even longer, so TT mustang here at disadvantage at that speed. His ideal mph roll will be 40. I hook at 40 with similar power, so i know he can too. That's why when you watch those videos you don't get all the details. I am going big boy transmission, stage 2 Calimer TR6060, that's a cheat code to hang with 10 speeds and will be perfect for 60 rolls in 2nd gear and only one shift from 60 to 130mph.

@@thefitnesslife4988 Most people i know with auto cars, already sold their cars. Plus i test drove 10 speed i dont like it for every day use. When my BC stage2 6060 swap goes in, it will be very close to a 10 speed anyway, only have to shift once.

I purchased my Procharger setup before ESS was really a thing, and, truly, I'm not upset with my choice still (even though I would probably go back to Vortech if I started over). Remember a year ago ESS had some really good pricing, so it makes sense why many went this route - no difference than when it was Vortech vs Procharger; people would stay the 2200SL was the best thing since sliced bread since it was inexpensive! Not to mention, ESS used Vortech for over a decade, so on that note I'm happy they made their own design and it's working out well for them. I'm curious how long these units will last though... I just know when I connected with ESS they told me a lot of 'hot garbage' as to why "they're the best" and they started arguing and getting defensive with me. Like wtf... After that, I have no love for ESS.

I spoke with one of the engineers from the Netherlands he came from jet engine background super down to earth explained the building process and we even started talking about our kids. Totally the opposite experience. Also you can Essentially line up all 3 of the same head units and will see how much efficiently ESS is. Ask me why Lund uses the same tuning file for all three brands 😢.

@@devious5.0 Very much so. Seems like you had your mind made up before you even called them. Why wouldn't you go with a better designed product? A lot of people have no love for Lund Tuning and they still bend the knee. I'm just saying brand loyalty doesn't get your car performing any better, the part does.

@@nitodiaz8636 And if we talk about performance, jeez, A10's are killing everything but now the 6R80's are coming back with vengeance. There are countless 8 second Procharged (P1x cars at that) running hard, and D1x/F1A-94's even deeper in the 8's. I'm sure Vortech's have done the same with a JT-B/YSI-B. I haven't seen any ESS car's do that yet. Now saying it can't be done. I'll never see 8's... But mid-9's would be a little more promising with any kit mentioned here. I'm all about boosting cars, can careless what people have.

Now you talking about cars in the 8's 😆 🤣 like if people don't know the countless mods you have to do to a Coyote to get a procharger to do that. 😆 🤣 again I see why you couldn't have a conversation with ESS.

TT 10r80 is still King. A Whipple S650 is not on a Stock Tune. It's a Whipple tune. A Shitty tune but a tune none the less

@LShee6 Huh??? Turbo is more efficient. Supercharger requires Power from engine before it gives you HP. Turbo uses exhaust. Equal power Turbo will shit on Supercharger top end all day. What are you taking about inconsistent ? Plus no heat soak. Lol

ESS, although a fantastic blower for the money, isn’t the reason it’s rolling like that. it’s the 10r80 i just eats. it’s would do the same with a paxton. if that ESS car would’ve ran that midnight 10speed it would’ve driven out of his life

Why you hating on the 10 speed coyote, they just move out man, those 10R80 help a lot, that’s cause is blower & fuel only car look pretty much full weight nothing crazy, & yeah it beat the z06 z 1st run 2nd run neck to neck, coyote taking over!

I definitely agree, ESS has basically eliminated Vortech/Paxton and Procharger when it comes to the centrifugal blower market for coyotes. The only time i see people buying other brands is on FB marketplace because of how expensive Vortech and Prochargers prices are. ESS ftw

I got the G2 with quite gears and G3 intercooler, with 1050x's, full pump booster and NGK spark plugs. A crankcase breather and a big ass catch can from Lethal. Installes myself Lund tuned. Ran like a dream 0 issues.

So I have a Paxton on my s550 I got it because when I had my fox body after high school I always wanted one but couldn’t afford it. It’s what all the guys I knew were buying to make power. But the guy that tunes my cars has ESS on his 10 spd S500 he absolutely loves it if I ever have major problems with my Paxton I’ll probably switch to ESS.

They do but you can get away with it longer with a centri blower bc the tq isn’t as harsh vs TT or Whipple.

The 10speed in general Keeps u in the maximum power band each gear the ess jus gives it that perfect blend of a little more low end torque with top end speed the 10speeds jus on another level but with a ess n a perfect tune that shi blows doors off shi it be beating n it can still drive like stock 🔥🔥

Are they gonna get access to "Ford approved tuning"? I don't think simply running the whipple tune file is gonna fly here like they do with the tvs blowers. I'm not so sure they're ever gonna have any tuning outside of Ford approved tuning for the s650. They've figured out that they can make more money after purchase of the vehicle by doing this tuning bs. Imo they tested the waters to see how people would react and low and behold everyone still runs out and buys s650s smh. They're making a fortune off this tuning monopoly they have going. That clout is a powerful thing. It's basically a rehashed s550 anyways its even still on an s550 chassis. What's the point in getting one over an s550 that you can mod however you want? Because it's newer and has a screen stuck to the dash? No thanks lol. Just saying man

No it's not eliminating most superchargers 2650 tvs ftw. Some of us like to feel some power before 4-5000 rpm lol. The 2650 can also perform really well too when set up right. Ess are cheap and alot of people go with them so there is alot of examples of them out there. They also work well with a 10 speed because where it makes all its power is where it's gonna constantly be at. They perform great but to say they eliminate most superchargers besides whipple is crazy lol. For the money they're the best centri for sure. Not everyone wants a centri.

@@EarsPOV I have a stick 2019 PP2 with a Vortech on pump 93 that makes 790 wheel, I know the sticks are a little slower but I don't care, I love the stick shifts. I'm working on going twins on 85 with a built motor to throw down 1200+ hopefully

ESS is a good platform but not better than a Whipple Gen5or6 period fact! Only thing better than a Whipple is a TwinTurbo set up at least on Coyotes, and as far as cost To anything close to matching the Whipple performance on ESS is going to cost you $9k anyways mite as well bite the $500 bullet and get the Real deal in the Whipple!

They're totally different. Not everyone wants a whipple and not everyone wants a centri. If you do want a centri the ess is awesome ecsp for the money. Stop acting like whipple just destroys everything. It's cringe. "Real deal" whipple what does that even mean? Is it more real because it costs more money? Lol. Because the results say otherwise.

ESS takes a sec to get going and unlike Turbo only produces what the pulley allows ... so it's funny as hell you ESS guys think you got something uncommonly special! ESS is a great set up if you go basic, once you start upgrading the Heat exchanger and inj pumps and internals of the blower you'll spend more than a Stg 2 Whipple that comes with all of it upfront for less. Sorry truth hurts sometimes

@@BigMvK G3X just allows more headroom, G2 tops out pretty quickly and if you’re going to go the saving money route just get a G3X, it’s just a better blower and you can grow immensely with it.

​@BigMvK remember the bigger you go the more lazy it's gonna feel when it's NOT turned up. Just keep that in mind. Do you plan on 900-1000+ rwhp in the future? If not your original plan might be fine. No reason to built with more headroom if you know you're not planning on going that far. In the social media internet age everyone tries to keep up with the Jones always thinking you gotta have 1000 hp to even matter lol. Once you go so far it becomes less and less practical and harder to enjoy on the street and harder to hook. So just give it plenty of thought is all I'm saying. So many people make the mistake of going too big weather it's throttle bodies, blowers, turbos or anything else. Bigger isn't always better for your application
