That's what I love about Witcher-style storytellig. Iorveth is full of blind hatred against humans. He's been killing humans and seen his loved ones killed by humans for long time. Yet deep down he dreams about simply sitting down with a pipe by the full table and relax. This really adds greath depth to his character. Whole Roche/Iorweth realtionship kinnda reminds me the one Londo/G'Kar had in Babylon 5.

Iorveth is tired. He's been fighting the humans relentlessly for a century or more, and is so full of hatred that he's lost sight of his cause. Part of him wants to give up the Scoia'tael lifestyle and just settle down and live a normal life, and I think this dream reflects that.

I'M SO CONFLICTED!! Iorveth is such a BADASS, he's cool and witty, but he's also a ruthless killer and a hateful racist. He's done a lot of terrible things to innocent people only because they were human. But at the same time, he has such a simple dream: to be able to put down roots, have a roof over his head, a warm fire, full table, and sweet, sweet herbs to blaze. Honestly, I think Iorveth is exhausted. He's been fighting non-stop for a century, and he's become so full of hate and resentment, he had lost sight of what really mattered for a long time. I don't know whether to be terrified of him or feel sorry for him.

Complete opposite of the lifestyle he's living (being on a run, living in some cold damp cave guarded by monster, etc). I think he is dreaming about power and riches. He may be saying 'You are the greatest! All is mine.' or something similar. Here he is just the opposite of a rebelous elf who lives in the forest. At the end we all are the same. Everybody have their price. But that is just my interpretation.
