you dont need moonlight, this works at daytime too and its more effective when you see huge light change

inside the cave you will find aeramas's note where he notes of an experience he 'envisioned' in a delirious state. there's word about the princes pointing towards a 'bleeding sun'. i suppose the lever shuts off the sun in retrospect. but i cant imagine anything other than that for thats the only reference closest to that..

I came here just to comment this. Glad somebody else got the joke. It's literally a light switch, except it's magic and they destroyed the guy's walls and ceiling, so now it doesn't know where to stop and shuts *all* the light off.

Its not a fail, its an Easter egg. The mage was so powerful he could turn off the sun. It's a dumb joke.

when I flipped the switch and the lights came back on, there was a beautiful orange sunset. It basically changes the lights to something cool

I did this recently. Now im not sure if im right, but as it became dark i was looking towards that big tree right in front of the manor, and there was this light, a dim light but kinda big and yellow/orange light. I went in that direction and checked out the tree but found nothing. I went even further but found nothing either. Im thinking it is some kind of nice loot or maybe even a new quest somewhere in that direction, it might just be very far away or something. Or it might be nothing since there is literally no one or nothing on the internet explaining this.
