If you want to make most of your items Weapons sell to blacksmith, armor sell to armor vendors, junk sell to general merchants or dismantle, food sell for inn keepers. Be aware difrent vendors offer different prices

A great video with good tips, and here’s some more from an experienced player (completed NG+ Death March). 1. The best way to make money is to kill bandits/other human enemies and loot their weapons. Sell these weapons, make a TON of coin. 2. Use the Quen and Aard signs, but Quen is more important than Aard. 3. Do the sidequests, but take it slow as it’s enjoyed best that way 4. When you can, craft a set of Witcher school gear, they are the best in the game, look it up for more details. 5. Get the Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine DLCs, they have great stories and lots of content to explore. 6. Lastly but most importantly, enjoy your time on The Path, Witcher.

With the selling of weapons and armor. Once you unlock a few blacksmiths, some may offer you a way better deal for certain armors. e.g. selling something for 700 vs 1000+. Early game anyway it's a good way to make a bit more.

LoL you're not selling anything for 700 early game. Even if you loot every book and cranny you likely won't have much more than 1k leaving white Orchard esp if you bought some necessities like a saddle bag

Loot....armor and weapons have weight. Things like hides have weight. Once you disassemble and end up with Leather and metal Ingots...you can carry them all...no weight. But getting the best saddlebags...by the time you start getting into Niilf horse gear it starts to cost, but the saddle bags alone will pay for themselves fast. Will save you a lot of time not having to stop in the middle of a quest and go unload your junk into your stash.

I was first told to play this game in 2017 and it was so overwhelming that I dropped it. But once I played RDR2 and went through that phase of being too slow in the beginning I thought I could give witcher 3 a chance. Now I have started it but I am really finding it hard to level up. I am in VELEN level 4 finding about CIRI but all the quests either primary or secondary are way above my level. I don't know how to level up.

Also I'd like to add crafting and alchemy items are weightless so you can carry thousands of pounds and you won't have to worry about being overweight. And 2 be a hoarder, even if you're overweight call your horse and ride it. Cause on your horse while overweight you can still run, just find a fast travel sign. I recently just started playing and found some loopholes. Don't waste your money on repair tools cause you find plenty as loot. Cause if you repair your gear at a weaponsmith or armorer yes it takes some coin. But if you sell the gear that is basically useless you'll gain all that coin back and then some.

Good list. You can actually choose how often you want autosave in the options menu but I think the default is 10 minutes and after certain events like quest updates. I would also suggest doing a bit of off road as well as on road exploration because you can find skills shrines, loot and monsters in the bush.

I’m level 100 on new game plus mode and I’m not too proud to say that all your tips are very good for beginners! There’s a lot of girls that are new to TW3 that never meditate, never check the weakness of their enemies. They don’t use bombs or oils to their blades. They treat the game like a hack and slash game which the Witcher three is not. You have to prepare before battle.

Stupid auto save tip for people. You can change the setting. I changed mine from 10 minutes to 3 minutes. I too started Witcher 3. I liked Cyberpunk (all but the billion crashes WHICH THEY'LL NEVER FIX), and wanted to try Witcher 3.
