witcher 3 next gen upgrade is very noticeable like we can say there is a huge difference from ps 4 to ps 5. and the upgrade is totally free. unlike gta v ps 4 and ps 5 versions when there is a tiny difference.

There’s also Fan favorite mods implemented for consoles. The HD Rework Project is the main mod that gives more fidelity and higher resolution textures. But there’s also one that updates the textures of every single monster in the game, including adding some special variants. Theres also a ton more I can’t recall. Pretty neat though that console players can get a semi modded version of this game.

Ps5 performance have worser lightning interiers and global illumination like ps4 vesion thats really shit. Second side ps5 rt mode is ok way better but ubplayable stutter. So, we waiting for next gen console

Performance only makes it 60fps with crisp texture so doesn't improve lighting, rt is capped at 30 until the pro is out, also ray tracing still in its early stages so stuttering is unfortunately expected

The old grass blends well and creates a cool look, the new grass while higher in resolution looks like it was tacked on. look at the old grass on the left: 1:35 and then the new grass; see how it completely butchers the intended blending between the ground and grass which looked awesome. Now it looks it just doesn't fit. And the floor texture in Novigrad, the new texture has bump and it looks AWFUL. I've never seen bump this bad in a triple A game ever. The Novigrad example isn't very obvious here check other videos, or play the game yourself and compare.
