If he was such a good actor you wouldn't have to refer to his looks as being perfect for the role. Honestly, it would just be self-evident that he was the most capable for the role. I don't think emotionally he brings anything that another actor can't bring. I find his acting stiff and Liam's more believable. I think Someone like Yenefer could truly not be replaced because the subtlety and emotion she brings to her character is unmatched in any other actor. She's incredible and a stand-out actress who truly could not be replaced. You guys are just reluctant to open your minds to the idea that someone could act the role as well as Henry, and to be honest, the role isn't that difficult. He didn't bring a lot of emotionality to his delivery and felt stiff a lot of the time (which is how his character in Enola Holmes also felt)

The problem I have with Liam is that he's too much of a 'pretty boy'. He's got a softer face that doesn't fit the gritty hardened look of Geralt. He's also doesn't have the same expressive eyes that I feel like are going to make it hard for him to convey the same level of emotion that Henry did. And for a character that doesn't say a whole lot, acting with facial expressions is pretty important.

I loved the witcher before the series so I already loved this world and it’s characters and story. Seeing how pitch perfect Henry’s portrayal of Geralt was really exited me. Henry now exiting the show was very shocking however seeing how many people saying they are boycotting the show really kind of made me think that many people are not actually a fan of the Witcher, but rather Henry Cavill and his portrayal of geralt, which again is perfect, but we need to accept that henry is not coming back and if that’s a dealbreaker for many people so be it. I love this world and these characters, so I’ll give it a chance. As long as Liam is still retains the same core characteristics and personality traits of the geralt that we all know and love then I think it’ll be fine. Henry was a great Geralt, but this is a whole fantasy world, which we see through Geralt, Ciri and Yennefer. If they recast everyone then I wouldn’t bother watching more, but I’m invested in the story and I wanna see where it’s going. It’s a damn shame that we’re losing henry, but I am still a witcher fan so I want to see this show succeed and continue. This season has been great thus far, so if they can keep that quality going into season 4 I hope they can keep the momentum. Change is always difficult and it will take time to accept and adapt to the new geralt, which I hope will be a successful transition. Henry’s Geralt will be missed but I am exited for what Henry will do in the future with Warhammer, which is something I have no knowledge of so that will be interesting to dive in completely blind. Anyways I’m enjoying this season and hope the show will actually get to complete its story unlike so many netflix shows that get axed before it’s proper conclusion.

You can see the sadness in their eyes on the whole situation. The producers should've realized the whole reason people tunned in to watch in the first place was because they chose Henry as Geralt. We suffered through increasingly bad writing, or at least I have just for him because he genuinely played the character so well I could forget about it as long as he was on scene. However, they chose to make him a side character in his own series and then made him leave over the fact that the writers weren't sticking to the books and started deviating. Saying he was "Difficult to work with" because he actually knew the lore and wanted to respect the books. Another franchise tarnished. HBO would've made this so much better if they had the same people that worked on the Last Of Us. And it's not like the books were hard to translate into screenplay, the writers just intentionally went rogue to push their hidden agendas.

Well, at the very least we have 2 seasons and 5 episodes so far (well most of 2nd season, one has to fast forward in order to actually watch a show about the Witcher and not so much agenda pushing) before this show is dead to the eyes of most of us.

After it was clear that Henry is no longer there, it was clear to me that season 3 is the last for me; nothing against Liam Hemsworth, but that does not fit. At least not for me. The good thing is, there are the books, so I don't have to rely on Netflix to see the end of the story :)

Netflix, I personally have nothing to congratulate, except for the fact that you outdid yourself in your stupidity! Well, congratulations... How could you distort the original source in your show, moreover, you personally removed the one who played the role of Geralt perfectly, and became an unforgettable incarnation for the fans… We all understand this, and you understand, no matter how hard you try to close your eyes to it. Instead of a brilliant and respected leading man, you have chosen a boy with a bad reputation, a poor filmography, known for numerous scandals, not loved by us , fans. It made me laugh when I thought about the situation: He sued his ex, by whose name he was known for a while, because he did not like the song ... He sued her over a song that didn't EVEN MENTION HE!!! I don’t even want to say that the hate in his direction is more than deserved. When I Vol. 2 is out, I won't watch The Witcher anymore if they still deviate from the original source. And it's funny when they tell Henry Cavill as a "toxic gamer" before he's really going to quit as Geralt of Rivia. And now almost everyone says he's fun, passionate, and blah blah blah.
