Damn straight! Frankly wish every (or almost all) episode would be from Geralt and Jaskier's perspective. Full episodes covering their adventures. The Edge of the World best scenes were those too, but the parts themselves were too short and infrequent, felt so hurried and skipped upon. I'd love to just see this couple's adventures, banter and action together. (personally, I don't mind seeing Ciri parts here and there, but I prefer to stick to Geralt mostly, I don't really think Yen needs her own perspective, it's better to view from the outside, and that whole background/origin story took WAY too long and really stole screentime from the other more interesting adventures. Ep 5 for instance had her, but it was from Geralt and Jaskier point of view entirely, which is a good approach.

I've never read the books, I've only ever played the Witcher 3 but the way Joey plays Jaskier is exactly the way I imagined he would be. People might fault my judgement because I haven't read the books but my interpretation of who he is, is someone that is witty, very heavily bordering on annoying and occasionally crossing the line. He's a mischievous bard who chases women and tries to make as much money out of people as possible. If this isn't how he's meant to be portrayed, I don't know how he's meant to be.

Never mind English and Polish humour, it's a classic contrasting combination for comedy, of the thick and skinny, big and small, silent guy and chatterbox, etc. It only bothers me a little that in books they are just buddies (though they don't spare themselves the malice sometimes), and here it's more like Shrek and Donkey.
@GrogAdHoc5 жыл бұрын
It can't be Shrek and Donkey because in Polish versions Shrek is Jaskier (voice of Shrek is given by actor who played Jaskier in Polish TV adaptation of Witcher)... But then there is always the onion argument. Jokes aside, you're right it's the contrast that gives this two guys not Polish, not British but universal humor.

No, to mam nadzieje że trochę sprawę z moim komentarzem rozjaśniłem.
@marcingounski2995 жыл бұрын
@@GnomeKr Nie zgodzę się z Twoją opinią w kilku aspektach. 1. Ruda też by jeszcze przeszła. Gdyby u nas zapłacili więcej za afekty, też by o wiele lepiej to wyglądało ;) 6.
