Todrick Hall is genius. This was his production and he asked PTX to bring his vision to life. He attended the same highschool as the original trio, although a bit older. They were not in attendance at the same time. What a full circle moment for all of their musical theatre teachers from Tyler, TX. I want Todrick to take this on Broadway as a full production. Just fabulous

Kirstin was born with a cleft palette and the side mouth singing is from nerve damage from surgery as an infant. She has since had that fixed and doesnt do the side mouth as often. Too bad, really, I find it charming.

I knew she had an issue and a scar on her upper lip, and always wondered if it was due to a cleft palate type of situation. Thank you for confirming my suspicions!

A little fun fact in case you didn’t know, Todrick Hall is from my hometown of Plainview, TX and I’m pretty sure he regularly gives back to the community. Great guy from what I know.

I love what they did with this, it's so masterful. The only thing that always makes me sad is that I don't feel like Kevin was given his deserved prominence. He was such an adorable Toto and the camera was always too quick to pan away from him!

I love your appreciation of Kirsty's quirk with her side grin while she sings. Apparently she got a lot of grief from singing teachers about how that would totally ruin her singing, but obviously they were wrong. There's nothing wrong with her singing.

You're one of my favorite PTX reactors. I'd love it if you'd put Where Are U Now on your list of PTX songs to potentially react to. I think it'd be up your ally and not many people actually do it.
@richardwilson55603 жыл бұрын
Hey, Kirsti's lopsided smile, does she ever lose it, or could it be from a medical condition, like mild stroke, (left side effective)? I love her all the same and think she is the best, just wanting to know, and you seem to know everything about them. 😁😁😎
@megandelynn61143 жыл бұрын
This was actually Todrick's idea & baby & he directed the whole video (you should watch the short behind the scenes video) as part of his Straight Outta Oz album. I would check out Water Guns with Jordan Sparks & Nails, Hair, Hips, Heels. He's definitely got a channel! He's won awards for his work with Taylor Swift (one of his besties) & is a huge voice for the LGBTQ+ community. Loved your reaction to this! Also, Kirstie, Mitch, & Scott are featured on his song Black & White! Thanks, J!

Oh, yeah, Todrick has a channel - keeps as busy as PTX does, which is saying something! You would enjoy the collab he did with Superfruit (Scott and Mitch) and Kirstin called "Black and White" - one hell of a bop, great video, great message :-) (Really enjoy your "nerding out" - my dad was a jazz musician and it gives my heart warm fuzziness- so keep it up, lol)

Great reaction. Thank you. I learn a lot when I watch your reactions. Todrick is a genius. His productions are always stellar. Todrick grew up in the same area of Texas as Kirstie, Scott and Mitch and knew each other through local theater. Christmas is coming soon, please react to Pentatonix version of "Silent Night". It is an older video. They were on tour in Europe and decided to record the video in an old church for the acoustics. It's amazing!!!

Todrick Hall is a Broadway performer. He absolutely LOVES the wizard of oz...his dog's name is Toto. He created his own visual album with the same theme. I hope he can take this to Broadway. He asked PTX to provide the vocals because they (original trio) attended the same highschool, although at different times.

Hey Jarvis, don't know if you'll get this since it's been awhile but if you get the chance, watch or react to Todrick Hall's video Queen-it was filmed in Ukraine just weeks before the war started! It's an amazingly beautiful song about being your authentic self & not just going along with what's not right & fighting for freedom! It's kind of different but it's a bop plus has a great message.
