*I visited Universal's Islands of Adventure 5 years ago and this video can't even manage to conjure a fraction of the actual charm and magic that I was fortunate enough to get to experience first hand..* *The world that they've built is wicked (as Ron would say) and 'Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey' is one of the best rides that I've ever sat on.. The Butterbeer was really neat too and yes, I BOUGHT A WAND AT OLLIVANDER'S!!* *P.S. This adventure was out of the world, especially for a staunch Potterhead like me.. Hence, it's easily among the best experiences I've ever had!*

It looks awesome but it's nothing compared to the experience at the WB Studios in Leavesden, England. Everything there is authentic which makes it more magical. The actual sets, costumes, props .... its all there. Nothing will ever beat that.

The amount of Detail in hogsmeade and diagon alley IS FRIGGIN INCREDIBLE the boxes of the candy the wands the buildings the castles the rides is incredible also the only thing different is the placement of diagon alley’s entrance and olivanders entrance

I told her that if she reads the whole serie & became a Potterhead, we would go to there (just the two of us) the summer before she starts her fourth year in ESO (the spanish equivalent of Middle School). I went in 2020 when winter season was still in effect but it was still one of the best vacations ever. I'm glad I dumped Disney for Universal. They didn't demand that I download an app to do anything. On the other hand, Universal's app CAN help you find your way around the park and make reservations for lunch or dinner. Even better, it provides wait times for most of their rides so I would recommend you try it. Your experience will NOT suffer if you go without it.

hands down one of the best 1:1 recreations out there. Seeing it for the first time was truly amazing, they captured the feel/look for everyone, even for a casual fan like myself. It put Disney's galaxy's edge to shame, where it feels nothing like star wars and the immersion goes away after 10min, unlike what universal has done with every corner having something to see and observe.
